We stayed in Mulberry cottage for October half term. It is a beautiful cottage and in a lovely area, in an ideal situation with easy access to Blackpool and Lancaster. It is within walking distance of Poulton and there is a leisure centre just around the corner. The cottage is well supplied with everything needed for a self catering holiday. There are one or two things that would improve this cottage considerably. There are two of the bedrooms with no plug sockets which isn't very convenient for teenage girls. Also we did have difficulty sorting out the TV set up in the lounge. Having said that we would not hesitate to have another holiday there, especially as we have a daughter at Lancaster University. Response: Thank you for taking the time to review Mulberry Cottage & I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay there. You're right, Poulton is a lovely town and becoming an increasingly popular place to visit. I'm sorry you were unable to find the plug sockets. I can assure you every bedroom has at least one and most considerably more than that. I suspect the beds must have been hiding them. Next time just give me a ring and I will point you in the right direction :). Anyway, I'm happy to hear that it didn't spoil your enjoyment of the cottage and you will be visiting again. That's great - you will be very welcome!! |
