The Pine Lodge
About the home
The Pine Lodge is set in its own woodland glade with lovely views over the surrounding farmland and open countryside. A wide variety of birdlife visits the surrounding trees, with deer and rabbits also regular visitors.
Full of light, courtesy of the picture window frontage, the comfortable open plan living / dining room and kitchen has a continental feel. This is complemented by the ‘al fresco’ feel of the decked balcony area at the front of the lodge, which is an ideal spot for an early evening drink and appreciating the tranquillity of the Broads National Park.
Back inside, the kitchen has a good range of appliances including an electric oven and hobs, large fridge / freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave oven, with all the equipment you need for a family holiday. There is also a washing machine / dryer together with all-inclusive oil-fired central heating.
The dining area has a pine dining table seating six and borders onto the living area which has comfortable leather sofas and a flat screen television including Freeview access and DVD player.
Also downstairs is the family bathroom with a bath (shower over), hand basin and toilet.
There is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom downstairs, each with ample storage space including walk-in wardrobes, as well as 1 twin bedroom on the upstairs mezzanine level, with its loft-type steps and open plan style overlooking the living area, further adding to the continental atmosphere.
With level and ramped access, and with the entire ground floor on a single level, the Pine Lodge is suitable for those with restricted mobility.
The Pine Lodge is fully double glazed, with all inclusive oil fired central heating, ensuring a warm welcome in the Autumn and Winter, while the abundance of light and the external balcony meansit is light and airy in the Summer months.

Enquire nowThe East Anglia / Norfolk region
A truly beautiful wetland landscape incorporating huge open skies, more than 120 miles of lock-free waterways and man-made freshwater lakes, quiet country lanes and an extensive network of footpaths and bridleways, the Norfolk Broads is a unique part of the family of National Parks in Britain.
A landscape significantly altered, if not wholly created, by the activities of man, the history of the Norfolk Broads is one of inter-dependence between nature and our working communities. This relationship continues to the present day and the fragile balance that exists between the needs of the natural environment, the requirements of the local inhabitants, and the attractions of the area for visitors, is one that calls for continual understanding and compromise in order to maintain the extra special qualities of the Norfolk Broads.
The Norfolk Broads is a very special place and at Clippesby Hall we aim to help you discover its magic and beauty for yourself – whether you love walking, cycling, canoeing, bird and wildlife watching or just want to experience the unique atmosphere of the Broads, there is something in Britain's magical waterland for everyone.
The Potter Heigham area
Clippesby Hall is also conveniently located for visits to Norwich and Great Yarmouth. Norwich is now one of the top destinations in the UK for shopping but in addition is packed full of history, atmosphere and things to do, with the castle, cathedral and medieval lanes blending in with the riverside entertainment complex and comprehensive shopping opportunities. Great Yarmouth is one of the great, traditional English seaside resorts, working hard (and succeeding) in adapting to the desires of the 21st century visitor, with the award-winning Time & Tide museum, heritage walks and historic South Quay set against the traditional seafront experience with the Pleasure Beach, Sea Life centre, piers and circus.
