About the home

Villa Violaciocca is an elegant and welcoming villa located in an isolated position, on the slopes of a hill which is covered with olive groves. It sleeps ten people. From Villa Violaciocca you will enjoy an enchanting view of Positano and of the sea at a distance. Villa Violaciocca is 200 square meters (2150 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a wide private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find a grocery store at 300 meters (990 feet) and the stop for Flavio Gioia bus Positano - Montepertuso - Nocelle line a few meters (feet) away. You will reach Villa Violaciocca from the parking area going down a short private walkway that includes approximately 40 stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Violaciocca you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for at most three cars.
Swimming Pool
The above-ground swimming pool has a circular shape, has a diameter of 5 meters (16 feet) and is deep from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 1.4 meters (4.6 feet). The swimming pool area is equipped with an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of Positano and of the sea at a distance. The pool is open from mid-May until the end of October.
Terrace
The terrace is 130 square meters (1400 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with tables, chairs, sun loungers and a swing. From the terrace you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast.
Living Room
The furnishings of the living room are elegant and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a sofa , two armchairs and two pouffes which unfold in two single beds. They include a rocking chair and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of Positano and of the sea at a distance through two double-glazed French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through an arched opening. It is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. There is a table to seat six guests.
Bedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested. The furnishings include a desk. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a double-glazed French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed).
