It is suitable for a wide range of leisure activities such as golf, fishing, beaches, and wind-surfing. Portstewart provides superb access to many of N.Ireland's most famous tourist attractions eg. Giant's Causeway, Antrim coast road, Carrick-a -Rede rope bridge, Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle and the historic City of Derry. Shopping, bars and restaurants are within easy access. Portrush Golf Course, home to Major winners Darren Clarke & Graeme McDowell is a 10 min drive.

The County Derry region
The house makes an ideal base from which to explore the many and varied local attractions such as the Giant's Causeway, sample the whiskey at Bushmills, Ireland's oldest distillery, play golf on some of the finest courses in Ireland or just relax and enjoy some traditional Irish hospitality. Portrush, Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Castlerock, Benone Strand, Ballycastle and Derry City are all worth a visit.
The beautiful Antrim Coast Road with its magnificent 9 Glens is within an hours drive from the property.
The Portstewart area
The famous Portstewart Strand, one of the finest and most popular Blue Flag beaches is a 3 minute drive from the property as is Portstewart promenade and town itself. Here you will find a number of shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours and coffee shops. For more shopping opportunities Coleraine is a 10 minute drive from Portstewart.
Portstewart and surrounding areas host a number of festivals throughout the summer eg. Portstewart Red Sails Festival and The Auld Lamas Fair in Ballycastle. Coleraine hosts the now famous Milk Cup Soccer Tournament for youth teams from around the world.
Horse Riding, Golf, Surfing, Tennis, Fishing, Walking and numerous other activities are available in the area.

We stayed with our 18mth old in Sept 2010. Don't have a bad word to say about this property. The owners were there when we arrived and gave us a guided tour ensuring all our questions were answered. The house was immaculate and there was everything we could possibly need during our stay. When we had a problem with the TV they drove around 75 miles and were with us within 2 hrs to bring a replacement! Really enjoyed our holiday and would have no hesitation in booking this house again. |
