"A quiet, perfectly located home from home."
We found Kinvara cottage well maintained and perfectly located: a ten minute brisk walk from the centre of town and a more leisurely ten from The Strand NT beach; situated in a quiet street with almost zero vehicle or pedestrian traffic. We especially liked beginning and ending the day in the rear garden which has a beautifully private aspect and is a real suntrap; the morning birdsong was wonderful! Within you'll find well equipped clean and tidy accommodation with plenty of storage space and you'll be made welcome by a very friendly Lynne who knows what's on in the locality and is close by if you need help with anything.

Kinvara Cottage is a wonderfully cosy cottage that makes you feel right at home the moment you step through the door. We went with our 81/2 & 10 yr old s & 80 year old mother. We were all impressed with how well equipped the cottage was & how relaxing it felt being inside. We made use of the outdoor area & used the barbeque one evening with great success. The biggest bonus of staying at Kinvara Cottage is the wonderful hospitality showed by its owner Lynne, who was so helpful & accommodating it really made staying there rather special from the usual. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, very calming & comfortable. Lynne supplies ample extra blankets & pillows if required. The front sitting room is great for the kids to have a play in or relaxing enough to sit & read. The cottage is in a fantastic spot-my husband & son jogged to the beach. Also the kitchen has pretty much everything you require-well thought out & appreciated. Highly recommend Kinvara Cottage, we will definitely stay again.

"Excellent place will never go past it it the future - amazing!"
What more can I say we travelled from co.armagh to the cottage and it exceeded any expectations. Located close to portstewart even closer to the beach and to the golf club. Children loved it. Facilities excellent and the host is out of this world her kindness touched us all right down to the fine detail of leaving fresh flowers on the table for our arrival. We stayed during the NW200 motorcycle road races and to be honest the facilities were that good and the house that comfy that we could have easily stayed for another week. In addition to this there was excellent safe parking and a secure back garden and patio area for the children to play...all round excellence

"Perfect location for exploring North Antrim Coast"
This property is ideally situated for walking to Portstewart promenade and town via a superb scenic coastal pathway. Also close by is the beautiful Portstewart strand.
Within easy reach is the main town centre of Coleraine with good shopping facilities and the seaside resorts of Castlerock, Portrush and Ballycastle. The famous Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle are just a few miles away along the North Antrim coast road with it's spectacular views. Kinvara is a cosy holiday retreat in a quiet residential setting. The property is clean and comfortable and contains all of the services one would require for an enjoyable holiday. Mr & Mrs Devenney are very welcoming and anxious to ensure that their guests have as enjoyable a holiday as possible.

"the cottage met all our expectations and was exactly as described."
I spent one week at kinvara with my two teenage children aged 14 and 17yrs in August 2013.The cottage was two minutes from the strand beach and 5/10 minutes walk to the main promenade. The cottage itself was very clean, practical, and cosy. All the appliances worked and the cottage had a very good heating and hot water supply. My children could come from the beach and have a hot shower immediately. The location was tranquil and beautiful. We had fun and have great memories of the week at Portstewart and at Kinvara.
I am delighted to read that you had a great stay at Kinvara. Thank you for reviewing your holiday and telling others about it. It was a pleasure to have you and your family stay with us.I look forward to welcoming you back again.

"Perfect location, very comfortable and stylish cottage and wonderful hostess."
We loved our stay in Kinvara Cottage, beautifully decorated, fully equipped and perfect location with a well loved garden to enjoy.
Lynne had some informative brochures for us to read so we could organise our daily trips, and also had local bus and train time tables.
Wished we could have stayed longer, would love to return some day soon.
Thanks for the wonderful review posted recently and taking the time to tell us of you experience in Portstewart and and the north coast. You certainly did not experience clear blue skies during your stay but the weather did not detract from your visit. I am so glad you intend to return again.
Hope it is not too long before we have the pleasure of welcoming you to Kinvara.
