"This rental was a warm welcoming home - a great place even in November"
This house was tastefully decorated throughout, it was warm, clean and bright. A few minutes walk from the amazing North Coast of Northern Ireland. It was close to the Giant's Causeway with it's new Visitor Centre and close to Derry/Londonderry, the first UK City of Culture. In all a great place to be and a stepping stone to many other wonderful places.
Thank you Lexi for taking the time to write your review. We are pleased you enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of our home which has everything you need. As you say it can be a stepping stone to sights further afield or simply walk ouside the door and you are at the coast in minutes. Wonderful pure fresh sea air.

Thank you Chris and Suzanne we are very pleased you enjoyed your two weeks with us. The convenience to the sea, sand and shopping is a real plus and of course Portstewart is right in the middle of the Causeway Coast with the breathtaking landscape. Regarding your return next year, you and your family will be made most welcome. Remember there are at least 52 weeks in the year, there's a time for everyone!

My wife and I stayed at this holiday home for 5 nights in June together with our two kids (aged 3 months, and two).
Our booking was at quite late notice, but this wasn't a problem at all. We contacted Geoff (the owner) directly, and the booking process couldn't have been easier. Everything was made very clear and straightforward.
The house itself was great. The biggest advantage was the location -a 5 minute walk from the Portstewart promenade. The house was very comfortable -set in a quiet location, warm and spotlessly clean, and well kitted out throughout with all mod-cons. The beds were also very comfortable.
All of the attractions of the North coast were just a short drive away. The house was a great base to travel from.
Overall we had a fantastic short break, and we're already planning our next visit!
We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit to our home Jonathan, The convenience of the short walk to the promenade even for little ones, can indeed be a big advantage. Of course as well as the drive to the numerous local attractions, a nice day tour would be a drive around the Inishowen Peninsula to name but one. It is encouraging when a guest intimates that they would like to return to us. We will be delighted to welcome you back.

Thank you Claire for your kind words and recommendation. The first thing you need on holiday is a comfortable home, with everything you need, in a scenic location. We think we have that in our home, I am pleased that you agree. The next thing you need is the scenery and we have that in abundance all around us. Then there's the weather, well come prepared for everything and hope for the best. Looking forward to having you and your little family back.

"perfect spot for a seaside stay with family"
It was easy walking distance from Portstewart town which has a great selection of places to eat out and a few shops to browse or get the essentials in. The park was visited every day! It is a short drive to other coastal destinations. The house provided everything you might need (unless you would miss a dishwasher), my only disappointment was a poor shower. The beds were really comfy, the children loved the bunk beds and liked the games and books. The grown ups loved having the novelty of an open fire. All in all we had a relaxing time.
I am pleased you found our home so convenient to everything. You are correct in saying that the kitchen has everything except a dishwasher. When we renovated the house, there just was no room for everything so the dishwasher lost out. I am told that washing dishes by hand can be a very theraputic exercise, it's true! You mentioned the shower, it is certainly no power shower, but nevertheless does the job. We look forward to seeing you again.

It's a lovely property (even looks better than the photos) in a quiet residential area, close to the water and shops (Tescos near by). The house is bright, airy and clean with all the thing you … More
"Wonderful Stay" - that is the reponse we want all our guests to have. Most visitors to our wonderful North Coast do not expect blue skies every day, however much we might wish for it. There is still so much to see and experiences to have throughout all the seasons. We try to do our best to ensure that our home is somewhere you look forward to return after your day out. Thank you for your kind comments.

"Everything we needed and much more"
This was a fantastic cozy house and had everything we needed for two young children including cot, board games, And DVDs.
I packed the car full of things before our trip and I needn't have bothered with half of it as this house was so well equipped...even decaf coffee!
It was very warm and cozy even though the ice was on the ground when we arrived. The beds were really comfy and I don't have any complaints.
We did a coastal walk on the first night into Portstewart and drove a short way to a gorgeous beach the next day. Portstewart had a lovely play park for the children and a massive ice cream shop so everyone was happy.
Geoff the owner was very friendly and we would definitely like to go back in the future.
Thank you for your nice comments, we are so pleased you found everything you needed. Indeed it is hard to list all that is in the house, but maybe we should try! We recommend that our guests would check with us before bringing anything too bulky, in case we have it in the house. Yes even with the frost on the ground Portstewart is special.
Outside of the summer season sometimes the views are so much clearer, with no heat haze.
A brisk walk by the shore taking in the fresh Atlantic sea air, returning to a cosy house - hard to beat.

We are pleased you felt at home and you all enjoyed your new surroundings. To future guests, if you have never spent any time on the North Coast, I think you just might enjoy it. Our home is a place to rest and relax after taking in the Atlantic sea breezes.

"A perfect home from home"
Just spent a fabulous week- end at Seafield Park, Portstewart. The house was clean, warm and very comfortable with a lovely garden for the boys to play in. The owners had forgotten nothing! Bedding was perfect, the kitchen was better stocked than my own at home and there were even toys, games and videos left for our use. We were so close to the town of Portstewart, a lovely play park, the beach and the rest of the magnificent Antrim Coast. All of this we thoroughly enjoyed, but the highlight of the holiday for the boys - the bunk beds of course!
"A perfect Home from Home", "Kitchen stocked better than your own" thank you very much for your kind compliments. Hilda is responsible for the stocking of the kitchen. Actually letting you into a secret, it is probably better stocked than our own. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our home, in Portstewart and surrounds. See you soon!
