I stayed in this fabulous home with my husband and three kids which was immaculate with all the mod cons you could ask for. It looked and said what was on the website excellent. There were a good vari… More

Sounds like you had a great time Pauline. Doughnuts for supper, then up at sunrise to burn off the calories with a jog along the beach. Taking in all that fresh Atlantic sea air. Thank you for your kind recommendation. As well as a place to stay to relax and get those batteries recharged, it is an ideal base to enable you to see so much on offer on the north coast. Looking forward to seeing you again, thanks for staying with us.

This was our second stay at 1 Seafield Park and it was just as good as last year. We loved it and the kids did too. The owners now set the standard for all the competition on what a good holiday let should be. Highly recommended.

It was lovely to see you back again this year Suzanne, Chris, Tom and Isabella. I know you have been coming to Porststewart now for 20 years and we are pleased that you have made our house your “Second Home”. Thank you for your comment re. setting the standard, we just try to meet all your needs and make you as comfortable as possible. We are glad you had a good fortnight. See you again next year!

Hazel we thank you very much for taking the time to write your review of your visit to us. This is a testimony to the fact that you do not even have to have a car to have a great relaxing holiday (I know you had a car but rarely used it). If you are a first timer to this part of Ireland you will of course want to travel a little further a field. There is so much to see even within a 20 mile radius. Check out the great guides available online from the N.I Tourist Board (NITB) Looking forward to seeing you again.

Thank you Neil for you kind review. I hope you mean the house was as comfy as your own, but I trust our surroundings were a little different. I know what you mean. A lot of guests comment on the convenience to the town, seaside and all major North Coast attractions. We were happy to make our garage available for your bikes and gear. "you will certainly be returning" that is a GOOD recommendation! Thank you.

"This rental was a warm welcoming home - a great place even in November"

This house was tastefully decorated throughout, it was warm, clean and bright. A few minutes walk from the amazing North Coast of Northern Ireland. It was close to the Giant's Causeway with it's new Visitor Centre and close to Derry/Londonderry, the first UK City of Culture. In all a great place to be and a stepping stone to many other wonderful places.

Thank you Lexi for taking the time to write your review. We are pleased you enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of our home which has everything you need. As you say it can be a stepping stone to sights further afield or simply walk ouside the door and you are at the coast in minutes. Wonderful pure fresh sea air.

"Great stay!"

My wife and I stayed at this holiday home for 5 nights in June together with our two kids (aged 3 months, and two).

Our booking was at quite late notice, but this wasn't a problem at all. We contacted Geoff (the owner) directly, and the booking process couldn't have been easier. Everything was made very clear and straightforward.

The house itself was great. The biggest advantage was the location -a 5 minute walk from the Portstewart promenade. The house was very comfortable -set in a quiet location, warm and spotlessly clean, and well kitted out throughout with all mod-cons. The beds were also very comfortable.

All of the attractions of the North coast were just a short drive away. The house was a great base to travel from.

Overall we had a fantastic short break, and we're already planning our next visit!

We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit to our home Jonathan, The convenience of the short walk to the promenade even for little ones, can indeed be a big advantage. Of course as well as the drive to the numerous local attractions, a nice day tour would be a drive around the Inishowen Peninsula to name but one. It is encouraging when a guest intimates that they would like to return to us. We will be delighted to welcome you back.

Thank you Claire for your kind words and recommendation. The first thing you need on holiday is a comfortable home, with everything you need, in a scenic location. We think we have that in our home, I am pleased that you agree. The next thing you need is the scenery and we have that in abundance all around us. Then there's the weather, well come prepared for everything and hope for the best. Looking forward to having you and your little family back.
