The furnishings and sofas are all very comfortable and well lit to accommodate readers. For anyone needing a little peace and quiet there is a log cabin at the rear where one can retreat if necessary!

£100 non refundable deposit secures booking - balance payable 4 weeks in advance of rental.
The County Derry region
The county of Derry is situated in the North West of Northern Ireland. The historic city of Derry/Londonderry is the 2nd largest city in N.I. after Belfast and stands on the River Foyle. It was granted it's 1st charter in 1604 and is famous for it's massive and almost complete city walls.
Traces of some of the oldest dwellings in the British Isles have been found in the lower valley of the Bann River in the east of the county.
Coleraine is a university town only 3 miles from Portstewart. It has a youthful vibrant atmosphere and is renowned for good shopping.
The Portstewart area
Heather Cottage is conveniently situated on the outskirts of Portstewart and within easy driving distance to the walled City of Londonderry, Mussenden Temple,Coleraine,Portrush, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, The Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Ballycastle and numerous sandy beaches fishing villages and coves.
The Causeway Coast is also famous for the some best links golf courses in Ireland.
Heather Cottage is also conveniently situated for those attending the NW200 motorcycle races, the Red Sails summer festival and the International Air Show.
