BookThe County Derry region
Portstewart is located in the heart of the famous causeway coast. Within 30 minutes drive to Giants Causeway, Dunluce castle, Bushmills Distillery, Mussendun temple and much much more. Coleraine, L/Derry and Ballymena are all a short drive away and are all renowned for their independent retailers and town centres.
The Portstewart area
Portstewart has a 2 mile blue flag beach and the crescent beach and playground for younger kids. There are three fantastic scenic links golf courses in the town for golfers and numerous great bars/restaurants and cafes.
It also has fantastic cycling and walking facilities including a cliff path which runs along the coast from the Promenade to Portstewart Strand and the Barmouth, where the Bann flows out into the Atlantic Ocean. The path has panoramic views across the Strand and Downhill with Donegal in the background.
The area also hosts the North West 200 motorbike race in May, the Milk Cup Youth Football Tournament and the red sails festival in July plus the Airshow and firework display in August to name but a few of the local events running throughout the year.

Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to kirk the owner for being a massive help. The house was really big; 3 large doubles and 2 good size singles. Very comfortable beds, very clean. Living room was massive and cosy very good after a long day out to the pub, Kitchen was by far the best room in the house with its large diner room Table a fully stocked cupboard with pots pans and knives/ forks. Free wi/ fi was a massive help when finding out about the local area! Less than 5 minute walk to the promenade. Only regret is coming in winter as I would love to have a BBQ out in the paved garden!!! But other than that it was amazing, I will be back again this summer. |

I booked this house for a family get-together: we were 6 adults and an 18-month-old baby, with 5 other relations staying close by. We loved the house, it was really comfortable and there was so much space for everybody, - huge kitchen/diner, large lounge, large bedrooms, especially the stunning master suite. The house had everything the adults and baby could need, even broadband. There is a great view of the sea from the front windows and at the back there is a grassy picnic area with beautiful views along the coast and as far as Scotland on a clear day. The owner was extremely helpful and responded very quickly to my emails. I would definitely book this house again. |
