The Historic Dockyard: Just a 5 minute walk from the apartment is the historic Portsmouth dockyard. This hosts two of the world’s most famous warships, 'HMS Warrior' 1860 (the first Iron clad warship), and the Royal Navy's flagship- Admiral Lord Nelson's very own ‘HMS Victory’, used at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. It is also the home of the world's oldest warship the 'Mary Rose', dating back to the 1500's.
