The apartment is centrally located and is within easy walking distance of Southsea town centre with a wide variety of shops, John Lewis, Debenhams, Waitrose etc.. it is hundred metres from Southsea common and about 500 metres to the sea front. Near by is the Isle of Wight hovercraft for easy access to the Island approx 13 mins on the hovercraft. Nearby is the Pyramids water park swimming pool, Royal Marines Museum, D Day Museum, Sea life Centre, Pitch and Putt, Gunwharf Quays with the award winning Spinnaker Tower, outlet shops, restaurants and bars, this is a 10 minute walk. The apartment is ideal for anyone wanting a fun family time in the UK, to explore Historic Ships, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior Mary Rose, the beach, common. There are literally scores of things for families of couples to do withing easy walking distance.

Portsmouth is an historic town with a wide variety of things to do, boat trips, museums, historic ships in the dockyard. A beach and amusements arcades for children, a lovely rose garden, common etc.
Nearby is Chichester, the harbour town of Emsworth and the New Forest. The Isle of Wight with Osborne House and the Garlic farm and the yachting town of Cowes is easily accessible via the Hovercraft or the Fast Cat.

1hr 40mins by train from LONDON to Portsmouth Harbour station. The station is situated approximately 10 minutes walk from the apartment.Continental Ferry port to france/ Spain 5 mins away. The nearest airport is Southampton airport which is approximately 15 miles away. The M27 motorway is about 2 miles from the apartment 10 mins away. It is located approximately 5 minutes walk to the hovercraft which takes you to the beautiful sandy beaches of the Isle of Wight.

“Lovely Location” A small, but comfortable apartment that is perfect for a couple -bed very comfortable! Kitchen a good size and a very spacious fridge freezer. We are local to the area and this was an ideal ase for us for the week. Walking distance to Southsea and Gunwhart and lots of nice pubs and eateries literally on your doorstep. We will be back again!

“Comfortable flat in convienient central location” We had a very enjoyable week at Lauralee House. The flat is well furnished, comfortable and quiet at night. The owner was very helpful and the complimentary tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge on our arrival was a welcoming touch. Would recommend.

“Comfortable apartment, conveniently situated” We enjoyed our four night break at Lauralee House. The apartment was very comfortable and convenient for the seafront and other tourist attractions. Car parking next to the house was an added bonus.... more
