About the home

This well equipped, modernised, character terraced house is situated in an old cobbled street with the old tram lines. For family reasons it is only available in July and August, the ideal time for a holiday by the seaside which is only 2km away. The house is only 1km from Fratton railway station, ideally placed as a comfortable base from which to explore Portsmouth. This property benefits from a sunny courtyard and is fully equipped for a family with an attractive kitchen and bathroom. Seating in the lounge is comfortable with Freeview TV. Wi-fi is available throughout the house. The three upstairs bedrooms on the first floor are light and airy. There is a dishwasher and washer dryer. A fourth single bedroom is downstairs. Shops are within easy walking distance for your everyday needs. Waitrose and John Lewis are a few minutes away by car.

The property benefits from a downstairs single bedroom, downstairs family bathroom with corner bath with mixer shower and upstairs cloakroom. The bathroom and kitchen have been modernised in the last few years. There is a washer dryer for your convenience.

This property benefits from a sunny court yard garden with BBQ, table, chairs and parasol. On a sunny day washing dries very quickly.

We prefer payment through PAYPAL and can send you a request for payment by email. We can accept payments by cheque as long as an extra week is given for it to clear.
Refundable £150 security deposit required with final balance payment.
Cleaning costs £10 per hour-if property not left as found- deducted from deposit.
Gas and electricity readings taken on arrival and departure . Cost of gas and electricity used deducted from deposit. The meters indicate credit in £ and p at all times.

“Perfect stay” This house is great : 4 bedrooms near the station, and if you need anything, you can ask to the neighboor. “Great holidays in Portsmouth” The house is not situated in the city centre but the bus stop and supermarket are within walking distance. The house is well-equipped. There is everything you need. The house benefits from a nice small courtyard, bathroom with corner bath and wifi. The seaside is about 2 km away. Portsmouth is a fantastic town with a lot of history, good shopping and nice seaside. It's really worth visiting.

Your house is really great.
The children were coming for the first time in England, and they enjoyed it a lot.
Of course, they also spent time in front of the TV, watching cartoons.

We spent very good holidays, visiting the Salisbury cathedral, the Arundel Castle, the HMS Victory etc.
