Two bedroom apartment in Southsea, Portsmouth with panoramic sea views. Newly refurbished with a brand new kitchen and bathroom, the flat has a great mixture of contemporary and period features.

Situated at the western end of Southsea, the apartment is close to all the seafront amenities and just a two minute walk to the beach. It is a 5-10 minutes walk to Old Portsmouth and around a 15 minutes walk to Gunwharf Quays where you can find dozens of designer shops and restaurants. The Historic Dockyard, home to the Mary Rose, Victory and Warrior is also only about 15 minutes walk.

The apartment is ideal for business visitors. With two good sized bedrooms and plenty of living space it would be perfect for two colleagues sharing. The flat is available for stays of between one week and three months and is exceptionally well located for Portsmouth Dockyard, Portsmouth University, Gunwharf Quays and anywhere in Southsea. We also can sometimes consider short stays for holidays, family visits etc, so please do enquire. Thanks!

As you enter the apartment you find yourself in a spacious hallway with a double height ceiling and a skylight in the eaves. This leads into the lounge which has original wooden floors and a Victorian fireplace. The lounge windows have uninterrupted views across Southsea Common to the Solent Sea and beyond to the Isle of Wight.

The kitchen is well equipped and has a built-in dishwasher, fridge-freezer and a new oven and hob. The bathroom is beautifully finished with an electric shower, bath, new flooring, marine blue walls and white tiles. Good quality towels are provided for use during your stay.

Bedroom One has a double bed made up with white Egyptian cotton bedlinen. This room is very sunny and restful with a rear aspect looking out over Victorian rooftops.

Bedroom Two is at the front of the building. It has lovely views over Southsea Common and the sea. This room has a double bed also made up with cotton bedlinen. (A single fold- up bed is also available for this room if separate beds are needed.)

The flat is on the third floor of a well maintained Victorian mansion terrace built in 1860. (Sorry, no lift!).

The apartment is ideal for a relaxing stay on the coast and is within easy reach of all the maritime history and seaside attractions in Southsea and Old Portsmouth.

Portsmouth and Southsea are on the South Coast of UK in the county of Hampshire. The region is renowned for its wealth of maritime history attractions.


The flat is ideally situated in Southsea, opposite Clarence Pier. The beach is only a 3 minute walk and Southsea Common, (protected parkland, lined with trees, great for picnics) is literally on the doorstep.

Old Portsmouth with many historic buildings and traditional waterside pubs can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, home to the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior is also within easy reach, around 15 minutes walk, as is Gunwharf Quays, which is home to dozens of designer shops and restaurants, cinema etc.

There are many restaurants and cafes within an easy walk of the apartment. Castle Road, just around the corner has many coffee shops and antique shops and is full of Victorian character. Osborne Road also a few minutes away has many restaurants and bars. Palmerston Road, a pedestrian shopping area is 5-10 mins walk. Here you can find high street stores including John Lewis, Debenhams, Boots etc and Farmers Markets selling local Hampshire produce are often held here on weekends.

If you'd like to visit the Isle of Wight the hovercraft from Southsea to Ryde leaves from Clarence Pier, just a few minutes walk from the flat.
