The apartment is a very large (1020 sq ft), stylish, and innovative conversion within a historic building, featuring exposed 3 foot thick brick walls and elegant sash windows accompanied by all the modern facilities one would expect of a loft style apartment, including wireless internet access and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher. This stunning apartment has 2 large double bedrooms, with split level living accommodation featuring a separate dining area and modern stylish bathroom.

Located at the heart of Gunwharf Quays, which is an award winning retail and leisure development, but within a tranquil setting only 100 metres walk from the all the amenities.

The property is within the Gunwharf Quays development with its own allocated parking space at the heart of all the amenities. Once here a car is not required as all amenities and attractions (historic dockyard, spinnaker tower and retail/leisure facilities) are on your doorstep. There is direct access to the railway station (Portsmouth Harbour) from the development with direct links to Central London.

Further details

A standard non-returnable deposit of 50% of the rate is required at the time of booking. The balance is required to reach us at least 4 weeks prior to your visit. Last minute bookings can be paid for in full by cheque, cash or telegraphic transfer at the time of booking. All prices include a daily utility allowance, linen and towels. Car parking is for one vehicle with additional parking available nearby. The apartment is available from 4pm on the first day of booking until 10am on day of departure. Weekend and daily rates are available on request.

"Wonderful holiday in beautiful apartment"

Enjoyed a fabulous weeks holiday (wall to wall sunshine) in a perfect location right on Gunwharf Quay. The accommodation was first class, very modern within a lovely traditional building and we couldn't fault it. Neeraj and Jo (owners) are very accommodating hosts, happy to help with any questions on the surrounding area etc. and lovely people to deal with. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday - we will certainly be returning.

"Great accommodation in an excellent position"

Lovely accommodation - clean and well maintained. The position is so good that you can park your car when you get there and should never need it again. Within easy (minutes) walking distance are: Portsmouth historic dockyard, including the new Mary Rose museum; a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops; great pubs that sell real ale (especially the Still & West which is right on the water front) and views of the harbour with lots of activity. It is also only about a 10 minute walk to the beaches of Southsea. Owners were friendly and helpful. The property was very quiet - although minutes away from restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay there again.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in our apartment in Portsmouth and especially that you enjoyed the peace and quiet of the building especially considering its location minutes from all the area has to offer.

Thanks very much for taking the time to write a review, which we appreciate greatly and we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us.
In answer to your observations our apartments are self catering and we certainly provide everything most guests require on arrival. There is always a full toilet roll left in each apartment and if you recall on arrival one of your group went to the toilet straight away. However, if this has been an oversight on our part we apologise and would have gladly provided more if requested. As far as the trash bag is concerned we always leave a liner in the bin and tend to find this is sufficient for our guests for their stay. Once again we would have gladly provided extra if required or requested and certainly take on board your points.

We have an allowance on the electricity useage to raise peoples awareness of leaving heating on with windows open, which has occurred in the past. In 7 years of offering our apartments we have only had 4 occasions when guests have exceeded the allowance we provide and then only by a few pounds which we have ignored in all but one of the cases.

Finally, we very much appreciate your recommendation regarding staying at our apartments and thank you for confirming that you are looking forward to visiting us again this year. This is something we pride ourselves upon as a large number of our guests are repeat visitors.

"Fantastic location and excellent apartment"

Stayed here over half term with family. Very comfortable and spacious apartment with everything on your doorstep so it was lovely not to have to use the car. Owners were very accommodating and a pleasure to meet. Would recommend for a visit and we will probably come back again next year for a short break.
