A lovely late Victorian terraced house, less than 10 minutes from the beach and very close to the Southsea Pitch & Put and tenth hole cafe.
The property has recently been refurbished and is currently arranges with a rear kitchen lounge to the rear of the house, with French doors to the patio garden and a front room currently offered as a large downstairs bedroom with double bed. Upstairs you will find 3 further bedrooms with pine beds, two are doubles and a single. Bedding & towels are provided for your stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, gas hob, microwave oven fridge & freezer. Pots, pans cutlery & crockery is provided for your self catering needs when not enjoying the many dining opportunities that Southsea provides- you are just 5 minutes walk from Albert Rd, which we like to think of as the Southsea version of Brick Lane.
The bathroom is upstairs and has a bath with shower over and again this was refitted during the refurbishment.
This house sleeps up to 7 people in 3 double beds and a single, but please be aware that there is only one toilet and shower so this may be a little optimistic.

A £i00 refundable deposit against damage or excess cleaning is chargable. This will be refunded no later than two weeks after
departure If additional house cleaning is required, it will be taken from the deposit at the rate of £10 per hour and the balance returned thereafter.
This is a non smoking house and we reserve the right to charge for both cleaning and loss of income should the property be smoked in during your stay, although we hope that this will never be necessary.
The Central Southern England region
Hampshire is a popular holiday area due to its mild climate. It has plenty of tourist attractions including its many seaside resorts, the maritime area in Portsmouth, the motor museum and Bucklers Hard at Beaulieu, Marwell Zoo and Arundel Castle is reasonably close by. The South Coast is a fabulous place to visit - its full of history, culture and entertainment .
The New Forest National Park lies within the borders, as does a large area of the South Downs which has now become a National Park. Hampshire has a long maritime history and two of England's largest ports lie on its coast. The county is famed as home of the writers Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Conan Doyle and Rudyard Kipling.
You can visit The Isle of Wight easily on a short ferry or hovercraft ride.

Portsmouth is a unique island city, surrounded by the Solent and little more than 2 miles across, its waterfront life, whether historical or modern is never far away. Seafaring has shaped our local history and the sea still adds to the life of the city today; sailing, yacht racing - Fastnet and Cowes - diving and water sports attract many visitors every year.
Visit the Spinnaker with its stunning panoramic views, the Historic Dockyard steeped in maritime tradition or treat yourself to a shopping spree at Gun Wharf Quays Shopping Village with over 85 designer outlets. Dine al fresco and watch the comings and goings of the busy harbour or just enjoy a leisurely walk along the Esplanade.
Portsea Island is flat so is a cyclists dream and the cycle paths and lanes, while not perfect, do extend the full length of the Seafront and throughout the city. The local cycle hire shop is 10 minutes walk away and a lot quicker on the ride back.
Portsmouth makes an ideal place for a summer holiday whether you are a retired couple or a family with young children. Southsea seafront - don't miss Southsea Castle , Blue Reef Aquarium, Pitch and Putt, Canoe lake with
swan boats and Tenth hole cafe.
During the summer on Sunday afternoons there is free live music at the bandstand behind the D Day museum.

"Light and airy house in great location"
We had an extended stay and enjoyed the benefit of the house's central location. It is just a couple of minutes walk from bus links to all areas of the city, and in the other direction a very short walk to the beach, the Canoe Lake and various seaside amenities.
The house is light and airy and two of the bedrooms are very roomy indeed, so there is plenty of flexibility for sleeping arrangements if required.
Our Landlord was always very pleasant and helpful to deal with throughout our stay.
