"A great plce to stay to visit Portsmouths many atractions"

We were very impressed with Susan's help on the day of our arrival, we arrived well before the time we stated and were unable to find anywhere to leave our luggage due to security requirements of a visit by The Queen that day.
On contacting Susan by phone she kindly came to our rescue by coming & collecting said luggage and delivering it to the flat, giving us the key & confirming a time to meet us and show us the flat.
As we did not have transport the flat is well located and we were able to walk to most of the places of interest without difficulty, I should say my wife and I are both reasonably fit retirees
Susan met us at the agreed time and was most helpful, the flat was lovely and clean and well presented, although the TV did not operate Susan arrange for a technician to fix it which was done quickly and efficiently. There are also a good number of supermarkets in the vicinity also good pubs & places to eat
Thank You Susan we really enjoyed our stay
All in all a great place to stay

"Lovely stay in a great place in a wonderful location"

Stayed for 2 months, really felt like home. Central for Southsea, the seafront and Portsmouth. Great facilities, lovely lady Susan there to welcome us and nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend this holiday home to anyone travelling to Portsmouth/Southsea.

"If I was going to Portsmouth again I would definitely stay there again."

Lovely place, excellent location, no problems whatsoever. Very happy and would stay there again. Pub over the road is fantastic. Parking round the back and there's a pass from the library for additional cars. Co -op over the road. Historic dockyard has a see it all ticker which lasts for a year so can split it up. Faringdon marshes is worth a morning walk. The aquarium was good. The place itself really is a good spot to stay. :)

"Wonderful Location"

We stayed in this gorgeous, cosy apartment for a week in March.

We were met by the owner who showed us around and how to use everything - TV, cooker etc. It's easy to find and with parking right outside getting in and out is very easy. We didn't use the car that much as the apartment is close to all the local areas of interest. Gunwharf is only a 10 minute walk away and fabulous for shopping and eating. We spent a day at the Historical Naval Base - you must see the Mary Rose, Victory and HMS Warrior just outside the main gate - some wonderful shops inside the navjal base too!

Lauralee is a very comfortable, well-equipped apartment - very comfy bed. Even though on a road - not noisy. Very nice chinese at the end of the road and a shop just across the road. All in all a fantastic stay and very good value for . Would highly recommend - we will be back!

"Good location, good value"

The appartment was in a great location for evrything we needed. Loads of restuarants within walking distance in Southsea, Gunwharf Quays about a 15 min walk.

The appartment itself was a perfect size for the four of us. However, the kitchen was a bit poorly equipped and lacking quite a few things. For example, there were only 3 wine glasses, 2 other glasses and no baking dishes. I would have expected at least enough glasses for 4 people when the appartment sleeps this many! There were a few other niggles, such as a really bad shower and one of the beds just had a mattress cover, no sheet. And you couldn't get a lot of the channels on the TV.

Overall, it was good value and was fine for what we needed it for.

Apologies for the niggles re: the apartment. I have re-looked at the provision of equipment in the kitchen, there are now ample glasses and baking dishes. The apartment is fully fitted with Freeview digital TV with 40 channels, I can only assume that you had not switched the digi box on and you only had terrestrial TV. The shower is a powerfull electric power shower and I think you may not have pulled the cord for the shower to operate it when using it.
