The Berkeley was a grand hotel situated in one of the most central & attractive areas of Southsea. The Berkeley has since been renovated into luxury apartments. The apartment is on the front of the building, on an elevated ground floor, facing the sea and less than 15meters from the beach.
The magnificent views from the lounge / dining area, kitchen and bedroom are of the Solent to the isle of Wight. The apartment I has high ceilings, grand windows (double aspect views of the sea and South Parade Pier) and large lounge room. The lounge room also benefits from a feature fireplace and two sofas (one which is a bed sofa). The bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobes. It is fully self - contained with own shower and toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided and beds made for arrival. Attractively furnished and fully equipped with electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and a security entrance telephone. Parking facilities are also available.
A fabulous location to explore the city easily by foot as The Berkeley is near to the historical sites as well as Southsea beach, which is on your doorstep! You can also walk few minutes to Canoe Lake, rose gardens and the model village as well as South Parade Pier .Facilities nearby include an indoor water park complex, skate park, Southsea Castle, Blue Reef Aquarium, D-Day museum, Old Portsmouth, Southsea shopping centre and a diversity of restaurants and bars - all within walking distance (max 30 min). Also, the buses are very near to the apartment which travel all around the city. You can also visit the award winning Gunwharf Quays complex (an array of discounted designer stores, bars, cinema, bowling, marina and the unique Spinnaker Tower). The Historic dockyard, including the Mary Rose and lots of attractions for the young and old.

There are many interesting places to visit in this area such as the New Forest (National Park) which is a wonderful area with wild ponies grazing on the communal land.
Some of the South Downs are featured in Hampshire which is a lovely area for exploring. Jane Austen and Charles Dickens are both from Hampshire.

20% deposit is required to secure the booking, the balance is payable within six weeks of your arrival. There is also a £100 refundable breakages deposit to pay which is returned within ten days of your departure.
