The apartment itself is in a development in the Georgian style which is very attractively presented and well maintained to the residents and Board of Directors very high standards, working in conjunction with the Management Company.
The property has a delightful private shared garden for your use during your stay. Once here a car is not required as all amenities and attractions are on your doorstep. However should you wish to bring your car there is one allocated private off road parking space available.
The beach which has been mentioned is great for family days out and is just steps away from the apartment. There are 2 good fish markets and a fishmonger a few minutes walk around the corner located in the Camber Dock which is a lovely traditional working dock and marina.

The Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival take place on the famous Goodwood racetrack and draw thousands of car enthusiasts to the event. Glorious Goodwood takes place at the end of July and is one of the high points in the racing calendar. Goodwood racetrack is considered to be the most beautiful in the world and is set high in the South Downs with views of the Solent. August – Cowes Week – The highlight of the yachting calendar. Over 1,000 boats in 40 different classes will take race this year in a stunning display of sail, speed and boatmanship. Don’t miss the world famous Fireworks display on Friday. Ferries from Portsmouth travel to the Isle of Wight every half hour.
Gunwarf Quays, an award winning waterside leisure complex, Southsea and its many attractions are within short walking distance as is access to the Isle Of Wight. There is direct access to the railway station (Portsmouth Harbour) from the apartment with direct links to Central London.
The facilities at Gunwarf Quays include a host of designer outlet retailers and excellent bars and restaurants. The facility also includes a multiplex Vue cinema, Bowlplex, a Comedy Club, and a Casino. The Isle of Wight can be visited by ferry either as a passenger or with a car for the day, alternatively there is a passenger hovercraft and Fast Cat for shorter trips. "Wonderful Comfortable Superb"
Firstly, I must point out that it's not my first time to have stayed at this property, there must be doing something right for me to keep coming back.
The Right stuff: The flat is modern, with a family's every need in it. Located in a quiet and peaceful just as we required. I also love, the view of the quadrangle garden, the view of the Spinnaker tower from the living room, the close proximity to Gunwharf quays and the seafront.
We definitely will return whenever future events bring us to Portsmouth.

"Excellent holidays appartment"
The flat is really nice and beautiful, it's spacious and very nicely furnished and decorated. I really like it, and you've got everything you need in there for a holidays stay. I would recommend it if you're visiting Portsmouth.

"Beautiful apartment with all we could hope for, in an amazing location"
My husband and I had been looking for somewhere to spend a romantic weekend close enough to the hubbub of the city and Gunwharf marina, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet.
We are frequent travellers with work and I have to say I am quite fussy when it comes to choosing accomodation, but this particular apartment was recommended to me by another couple who had stayed earlier in the year and I am so glad we took their advice and booked Marina Views!!
Upon arrival we were greeted by Stuart who showed us to the apartment and made sure we had everything we needed. He and Helen do an amazing job of providing an attentive service without being intrusive, giving us the privacy we were looking for. Stuart gave us his mobile number for anything we might need throughout our stay, but there was absolutely nothing we needed throughout our three night break.
The apartment is just how it looks in the pictures; gorgeous wooden flooring, a big, comfortable bed and a lovely, clean bathroom to enjoy a long soak in the evening.
The apartment was spotless and we were so pleasantly surpised at the value for money we were getting, especially having looked at some of the local hotels in the area. Helen and Stuart have created an understated luxury in the apartments (we were lucky enough to have a look around another property that they own in the area which we have already booked along with another stay at Marina Views later this year for a two week stay with my sister in law) and at the same time, a home from home feel with all the creature comforts we needed.
I would highly recommend this accomodation and have to say that having seen the terrible review another guest has recently written - I had to ask my hubby if I had typed in the wrong apartment name!! Just book it - I promise you won't regret it!

"Would not return to this property - very disappointing"
Only stayed for a short break in November 2011 but our experience was extremely disappointing. Good location and easy to find but that is the only good thing to say....had to have soiled and badly smelling bedding replaced and apartment was very sparsely furnished with minimum cutlery, pots etc. Sofa beds were broken, shower didnt work correctly and no full length mirror. Also had to wash most pots before we could use them. Very expensive for poor quality and would certainly not recommend Marina Views or return in the future.
We regret that your accommodation did not meet with your expectations.
Our prime objective is for all visitors to have a good experience, to be as comfortable as possible and to have everything they require.
To this end, we provide a contact number for any requests; being local to the area ourselves we are always on hand but not intrusive.
Thank you for mentioning that some linen for one of the sofa beds, which was laundered, pressed and wrapped in cellophane, upon opening seemed to have a smoky aroma and a faint watermark and this was immediately exchanged. We have not since employed the services of this supplier and once again offer our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for bringing it to our attention.
Unfortunately other issues mentioned in your review were not brought to our attention at the time of your stay, if we had been made aware we would of course have been more than happy to address them.
We take all comments very seriously and enhancements and improvements are made on an ongoing basis.
Marina Views is occupied until May 1st 2012 when photographs will be added to those currently displayed to reflect any such enhancements.
