This is a modern apartment located in an historic part of Portsmouth, as you can see from the images the views are amazing. You over look the mouth of busy portsmouth harbour, and there will never be a dull moment, even if your preference is to just sit and look out of the window having your morning coffee and watching the world go by.

The Apartment benefits from two bedrooms, a double, and a large single ( taking two single beds), there is also a double bed settee in the living room. There is a modern kitchen and bathroom, and the Apartment has cable TV and WI-Fi. You also have access to private parking.

There is a lift which gives you access to your fourth floor apartment if you are saving your energy for your seafront walks.

When you have dragged your self away from the views of the harbour, the Solent and the Isle of Wight, you can step out and wander arround historic Old Portsmouth, visit museums, cafes restaurants, designer shopping, asend the Spinaker tower ( Gunwharf), local walks beaches, shows, museums, local markets, historic Dock Yard ( Mary rose, the Victory,The Worrior, moder naval vessals).Or just enjoy the sea.

Portsmouth is situated in Hampshire on the South coast of England. It is a city with a geat Naval history and a holiday base here gives you access to the South coast, and all its water based activities, the Isle of Wight, the Uk country side, London, Europe and Local airports. The Weather is generally temperate and statistically benifits from a warmer and brighter disposition that much of the UK.

Portsmouth

Although modern and cotemporpary your apartment is situated in the historic part of the City known as Old Portsmouth. This area of Old Portsmouth feels very nautical, with narrow town houses, usually three story, squeezed in to form non-uniform terraces, Your apartment is just east of The Camber harbour, with The Point being on the west side: Broad Street and Bath Square lead towards the narrow entrance to Portsmouth Harbour. All of this area was within the old walled city. You can find fortifications, an old savings bank, historic inns, a former bathing house (Quebec House), the Popinjays warehouse, the sailing club and an old customs watch house with an observation hut. Most of the buildings are Circa 1800, with some C1700 and C1900. The landmark former Seagull Pub then Restaurant now estate agent is from the early 1900s.

Walk the route that Nelson took on his way to board HMS Victory on route to the Battle of Trafalgar. Vist the oldest pub in Portsmouth.......The Dolphin built 1759.

The Hot Rocks is a shingle beach only one minute walk bounded by Portsmouths old fortifications and Round Tower ( view point). Old Portsmouth has many historic buildings and traditional waterside pubs all on your doorstep. Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, home to the Mary Rose, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior, The Spinaker Tower and Gunwharf Quays, are all just 15 mins walk away. Gunwharf Quays is the home of numerous desiger outlet stores, restaurants and cimema.

You also have access to Isle of Wight Ferries, buses, coaches and trains all within 15mins walk, The Isle of Wight hovercraft also departs every half hour and is a ten minute walk away. Brittany Ferries give access to France and Spain and are a 15 min Taxi ride away. There is also easy access to a number of sailing Marinas, this includes Hazlar, Gosport and Port Solent. .

There are Numerous places to eat and drink which include restaurants and cafes all within an easy walk of the apartment.Southsea offers high street stores including John Lewis, Debenhams, Boots etc and Farmers Markets selling local Hampshire produce are often held here on weekends.

Southsea Common, host many events such as kite festvals, circuses, Southsea show , , or is just great for pic nics games and walks..20min walk form the Apartment. Futher down the promenade you have tennis courts, outdoor bowls, kids water parks and play areas, sand filled volley ball courts, The Sealife Centre, D-Day Museum, Henry VIII Castle,The Pyramid Centre ( wave machines slide and pools) for the kids, Skate Park, Rock gardens, South Parade Pier, Canoe lake with water play areas, bouncy castle, boats and floating swans, modle village, rose gardens, pitch and Put , Royal Marine museum, and eventually Eastney Marina and the Hayling Island Ferry, which will take you to the lovely Sandy beaches of Hayling.The are various eateries along the way, If you decide to do this 1 hr walk along the seafront in one hit. You can always geta Taxi or bus back.

If you'd like to visit the Isle of Wight the hovercraft from Southsea to Ryde leaves from Clarence Pier, just a few minutes walk from the flat.
