Quayway is set in a lovely peaceful position, near Portscatho on the Roseland Peninsula. Approached along a private road through the grounds of a manor house. The lodge aspect is superb, giving glorious uninterrupted sea and countryside views. Very well appointed, the interior is bright and has neutral tones throughout. The living area is a perfect place to relax, having 2 large leather sofas and oak furniture. Large picture windows frame the ever-changing sea views. An enclosed double aspect deck terrace, master bedroom balcony and garden are ideal for alfresco dining - all with quite outstanding views, facing south to south west.. There are BBQ grill facilities in the garden.

The West Country / Cornwall region
The Roseland is one of the little know gems of Cornwall, timeless and an area of outstanding natural beauty. From tranquil sandy beaches, picturesque fishing villages and hamlets to sub-tropical gardens. Truro is a 30 minute drive and attractions such as The Eden Project, St Michael's Mount, St Ives and Padstow are all within easy reach. The lodge has a comprehensive range of information on local and regional events, attractions, activities, restaurants etc.
Portscatho area
The pretty fishing village of Portscatho is a little over a mile away and has glorious views across the harbour towards Porthcurnick beach. Picturesque St Mawes is a haven for boats and yachts and has an excellent choice of restaurants, pubs and cafés. From the harbour take the scenic ferry crossing to Falmouth and visit the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. Walking trails are all around - a scenic walk starts directly from the lodge and has panoramic views along the way. Several sandy beaches and coves are nearby. Towan beach is a National Trust gem and is just 3 minutes drive away.
How to get there
Quayway lodge is a 1 hour 50 minute drive from Exeter via the A30. At the Fraddon exit , the last 40 minutes to Portscatho is mostly along very good B roads.
