Home description
Quayway Lodge is set in a superb position with extensive uninterrupted views of the coast. Access to the lodge is through the grounds of a manor house via a private road leading to a quay. The accommodation is well appointed and a pleasure to live in. There are natural tones throughout, with oak furniture in the dining and living areas, including two large comfortable leather sofas. Large picture windows frame the amazing ever-changing sea views. The sunny south to west facing double aspect position is ideal for alfresco dining. Have breakfast on the terrace or an evening meal in the garden using the BBQ grill facilities - both areas have sea views.

The West Country / Cornwall region
The Roseland is one of the little known gems of Cornwall - bounded by the sea on one side and a river on the other. The area is stunningly beautiful - from sandy beaches, secluded coves, picturesque fishing villages to sub-tropical gardens.
Portscatho area
The pretty fishing village of Portscatho is 5 minutes distance by car. It's a haven for artists, with glorious views across the bay towards Porthcurnick beach. The picturesque village of St Mawes is a short drive away and a stunning sailing venue. From the harbour take the scenic ferry crossing to Falmouth and visit the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle, or to Truro and visit the magnificent cathedral. Walking routes are all around - one lovely walk starts directly from the lodge and has wonderful views along the way. Several sandy beaches and coves are nearby. Crescent shaped Towan beach is 3 minutes drive away. Pendower beach is a real haven of peace and quiet. There's an excellent choice of restaurants, pubs and cafés, many with sea or river views. Quayway Lodge is a relaxing place to visit at any time of the year.
How to get there
Quayway lodge is a 1 hour 50 minute drive from Exeter via the A30. At the Fraddon exit , the last 40 minutes to Portscatho is mostly along very good B roads.
