This is a traditional 3 bedroomed cottage with, log fire, private courtyard garden with rear access and a nearby designated parking place. On the doorstep is a beach, pub, shops, post office and the beginning of beautiful coastal walks on the Roseland Peninsula accessible by foot.Within a short drive further lovely beaches with safe swimming, sailing, windsurfing and canoeing and further stunning walks and places of interest to visit. Ideal for families/couples. The famous Hidden Hut at Porthkerick Beach only a short walk along the coastal path.

No. 2 Sunnyside is a comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage, beautifully furnished by the owners as a home from home.

On the ground floor is a sitting room with a cast iron decorative fireplace & turning staircase to the first floor landing, kitchen/breakfast room, utility room with door to rear courtyard, downstairs cloakroom with WC & basin.

On the first floor are 3 bedrooms - two doubles with king sized beds one with wash hand basin & glimpses of the sea, the other with glimpses of the sea, and a single room with a large single bed also with wash hand basin. The bathroom has a wood panelled enclosed bath with wall mounted shower attachment, wash hand basin & and WC.

Through the utility room is access to a private enclosed courtyard garden with table, chairs & BBQ and a rear exit gate.

The Roseland Peninsula region

Portscatho is situated in the South West corner of Gerrans Bay, which is a sheltered cove and surrounded by land which is overseen by Heritage Coast and The National Trust.

There are many stunning, sandy beaches and dramatic cliffs and lovely country side and villages in land.

Portscatho

Portscatho is a traditional fishing village and local shops include a butchers, grocers, galleries and a gift shop. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden Project are half and hour's drive away and there are many other National Trust Gardens & Houses in the garden to visit. Nearby Falmouth has many shops and restaurants with local products and the cathedral city of Truro is accessibly either by road of via The King Harry Ferry.

The many watersports include sailing and windsurfing and surfing is available on the North Cornish Coast which is only a short distance away. There are many beaches with safe swimming and rock pools and it is spectacular walking country along the coastal paths.

"SECRET OF THE ROSELAND PENINSULA"

Portsscatho is a beautiful area of Cornwall to stay and explore with many beaches and lovely walks.We have hired Sunnyside for the last 2years and holidayed for the last 4 in this village. The accommadation is superb with 3 lovely bedrooms good sized bathroom,a great lounge and large kitchen.Every amenity is there...even an open fire for those colder evenings in the autumn/ winter, and we will book again. We have always arrived in Oct.and have always been pleasantly surprised with the weather.This year no exception..18 degrees some days!! Thank you to the owner for a carefree holiday and for making sure there is off road parking not far down the road from the property. We thoroughly recommend the cottage being excellent value

"Wonderful place to take the family - highly reccomended"

We have enjoyed 2 stays at Sunnyside and both times have found it to be a lovely home from home. Wonderfully furnished and exceptionally clean, we found it a great place to take the family and use it as the perfect base to enjoy one of the most stunning parts of Cornwall.
