Portrush is probably the most popular seaside resort in Northern Ireland. its premier holiday resorts, Portrush sits on a mile-long peninsula extending into the Atlantic Ocean.There are two long sandy beaches in the town, known as the West Strand and East Strand.
These beautiful beaches both enjoy European Blue Flag status, attracting surfers, watersports enthusiasts, walkers and holidaymakers. It contains the largest amusement park in Ireland. Other attractions in Portrush include Waterworld, an indoor holiday paradise with water flumes, cannons, sprays and jacuzzi.
Portrush's biggest attraction is certainly because of it proximity to the magnificent Causeway Coast but in particular the world heritage site, the Giant's Causeway. also dunluce castle, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and Bushmills Distillery and one Northern Ireland’s best surf beaches which have European Blue Flag status, .

Further details outdoors: A modern luxury apartments build 2007. over looking a area called the blue pool, which was used as a natural sea diving platforms , where now deep sea diver's can be seen still using this area to explore. From the balcony views of the Atlantic sea to Scotland, along the east strand to Portballintrea. a communal roof garden can be found on the roof with marble furniture to relax and dine in privacy.

We stayed here for a week last summer. We loved the apartment, especially the spacious layout, and who could not forget those great views from the balcony. Superb location for seeing Portrush and for touring the north coast. We would certainly consider staying here again!

Joe McBride Date Added: 21/08/2009 Title: Carrig-na-rone Review: Carrig-na-rone means Seal Rock in English -thought you should know that. This apartment is in an excellent location - very clean and modern, spotless in fact. Fantastic views over the Atlantic towards The Skerries (small group of offshore islands). Would recommend you bring a spotting scope or binoculars as there are plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife such as dolphins and minke whales. I spotted a group of grey seals on the skerries and a pod of porpoises swing very close to shore on one of the mornings we were there. The owner is very easy to deal with - I really would recommend this to anybody.
