Bayview Croft is a luxuriously appointed 3 bedroomed traditional Highland croft on the beautiful romantic Isle of Skye, with spectacular views overlooking Portree Bay and the Cullin Mountain Range. Views! Views! Views!

This beautiful and tranquil 3 bedroomed house is superbly situated on a traditional croft dating back to 1890 . The original stonework still stands today however it has been updated with all modern facilities, including a modern kitchen and 3 modern

bathrooms which cater for up to 6 guests.

The bedroom arrangements are as follows: a ground-floor double bedroom with en-suite, upstairs a twin room with private bathroom and the Master bedroom with en-suite. All rooms have amazing sea views!

The living room/dinning room area comprises of two leather couches, television set, board games, dinning table and chairs there is also a log burning fire set into the old stone wall for the cooler evenings.

The afore mentioned modern kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher,microwave etc there is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer

Bayview Croft is situated 3 miles from Portree in a spectacular, peaceful location in the friendly crofting community of Penifiler in an acre of well maintained gardens where one can enjoy the outstanding views across Portree Bay and to the Old Man of Storr

and to the south the Black Cullins. ideal for one to relax in this tranquil setting after a busy day exploring the island (garden furniture provided) or a walk down to the shore.

We provide FREE WiFI, Heating Linen and towels there is also a welcome tray for that first cup of tea/coffee. with your shortbread.

It is famous for its scenery and landscapes that will take your breath away .The dramatic landscapes and seascapes offer endless opportunities for walking, hiking ,climbing,sailing and fishing.

The Isle of Skye is a great destination for Wildlife, White tailed Sea Eagle.Otters,Seals,Whales, dolphins and red deer are just some of the creatures that can be seen on and around the Island.

Skye is a World class destination for walkers and climbers The Cullin Range offers challenging climbs and interesting scrambles The Cullin Range offers 12 Munros (peaks above 3000ft .) There are also many great walks on Skye to be enjoyed by the less experienced

Any visit to the Isle of Skye is incomplete without savouring the wealth of history at Dunvegan Castle the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland, and has been the ancestral home of the Chiefs of Clan Macleod for over 800 years.

Talisker distillery is the only distillery on the Island and is set on the shores of Loch Harport with dramatic views of the Cullins is a must for a dram


Portrree, the Islands capital is set around a natural harbour with stunning views, it boasts a tremendous variety of shops, restaurants

and hotels. From the harbour their are boat trips to explore this stunning area and possibly catch a glimpse of dolphins and wildlife.

It is a haven for numerous outdoor activities from climbing Ben Tianavaig in Penifiler to the more challenging famous Cullin Mountain Range. Other outdoor activities include walking, fishing, kayaking, horse riding, cycling and golfing.

For more gentle pursuits visit Aros Visitor Centre/Restaurant which hosts various events throughout the year, the centre also hosts

a cinema and a theatre or visit the Talisker Distillery for a dram of whisky.

Portree offers so much for the visitor whatever their idea of a perfect holiday may be.

"Just what you need from a holiday cottage."
