About the home

Many people are now considering holidaying in the UK, but it's always good to feel you're completely away from your normal life. Holiday cottages in Scotland fit this bill perfectly. Skye, one of the better known islands, is home to Coillore Farm Cottage. Situated in an idyllic, secluded position on a working farm, it is an excellent example of a Scottish cottage. It is all on ground level and sleeps four people in two twin rooms. The communal spaces comprise a small but well-appointed kitchen area with cooker, washing machine, fridge and microwave. The lounge/dining area, complete with TV, DVD and CD player, is bright and airy. In addition, there is a shower room comprising shower cubicle, toilet and wash hand basin. Outside there is a garden area with table and chairs, from where you can enjoy the stunning views.

Kitchen Area: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box and washing machine
Bedroom 1: With two single beds. (although these beds do not link together the owner can supply double duvet and linen if preferred)
Bedroom 2: With two single beds
Shower Room: With shower enclosure, WC and wash basin
All electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot and high chair available.

The Hebrides / Skye / Isle of Skye region

The Isle of Skye lies just off the west coast of Scotland and is now connected to the Scottish mainland by a road bridge at the Kyle of Lochalsh.One of the largest of the western isles, Skye provides for an ideal holiday location with plenty of amenities for family holidays yet retaining a stunning beauty and tranquillity for a peaceful break in northern Scotland.This is a great spot for wildlife lovers, whether it's on the land, in the air or on the sea. Keep a look out for elusive otters and dolphins or if you're really lucky you might glimpse a passing golden eagle! It's easy to take to the sea and boat hire is readily available.

The Portree / Coilore area

Scotland accommodation, is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoor life, so whether you enjoy climbing, walking, cycling or fishing, this cottage will prove to be a quiet, unspoiled retreat. Dunvegan Castle, the oldest occupied castle in Scotland is only 10 miles away. From here, you can take a boat trip from where you may be lucky enough to spot seals. The town of Portree is a similar distance and has a very pretty harbour, with excellent fish restaurants.
