The light & airy master bedroom has an excellant double bed & a newly fitted pristine shower room / wc .

Our unique air dome covered heated Swimming Pool & Hot tub / Spa are the ultimate in relaxation,
The children's adventure play area with table tennis & sand pit keep the little ones buisy ,
Our Games room has Pool & Football tables , Games machines etc ,we have something for everyone .

Having owned and lived at Bassets acre for over 35 years we are very proud of all we have achieved here, The apartments are part of a home that is loved and cared for. Cleanliness and comfort of the apartments is our priority and we are on hand for all of your needs .
We are located in the heart of Portreath a charming and historic village , a few minutes walk from the beautiful beach with lots of sports available , Fishing , Surfing , Horse riding , Golf , Coast to coast cycle Path , and perhaps the best coastal walks in Cornwall . We are approx 30 minutes for St Ives , Falmoth , Truro , Newquay , Perranporth , Hayle , 40 minutes Eden project although we are told our gardens are more beautiful

Bassets Acre is set in idyllic one acre tranquil grounds of woodland and lawns with gently flowing stream and amazing sea views .
with Swimming pool ,Hot tub Jacuzzi spa, we have a large deck with sea views and B.B.Qs , The childrens adventure play area also has sand pit & table tennis. We have ample private off road parking
The historic house has many interesting features , Huge granite fan quoins around the windows and doors, one meter thick walls built with wonderful Cornish stone & a stream wends it way through the tranquil gardens. We are a few minutes walk from the Beach, Harbour , Pubs & Shops

Our heated swimming pool has an air dome cover which allows you to swim and relax whatever the weather then slip into our hot tub massage spa for ultimate relaxation .
The swimming pool is open from mid May to mid September.
We are resident owners and are at hand for your needs.

The West Country / Cornwall region

Portreath is situated between St Ives and Newquay on the North coast, steeped in mining history,stunning coast line with Unesco world heritage status, Our coastline is noted for its good weather and numerous outstanding sandy beaches , The national trust is prevalent in Cornwall with many Castles , Gardens and Stately homes . The Eden project is a must to see. There is so much to do in Cornwall two weeks is never enough , this is what we are told by our guests who return year after year.

The Portreath area

Portreath has a blue hole over it !!!!! so we have been told by many visitors due to its good weather conditions. It is a very charming historic village steeped in local mining history . The old harbour is great for fishing and the beautiful sandy beach has rock pools and a natural swimming pool , There are adventure sports activities on the beach There are 3 pubs with inside or outside eating areas ans several other excellent restaurants , A mini market, a bakery and 2 surf shops. Coast to Coast cycle paths , Coast and Wood land walks. The Eden project is just 40 minutes away.

Exit the A30 at Redruth and take the Portreath turning , on entering the village of Portreath you will see our brown tourist signs on the left . Flybe operates out of Newquay which is only 30 minutes away. The nearest main line train station is Redruth just 10 minutes away . Our nearest ferry port is at Plymouth, 90 minutes away. There is a good selection of car hire companies
