The two steps into the large courtyard may be unsuitable for less-abled or for very young children unsupervised

There is comfortable seating and tables and for 8 and a very large gas barbecue.

The full garden is only accessible for able bodied and is not suitable for unsupervised children. The garden can only be accessed up a flight of steep steps which are securely gated near the bottom.

However for the not-so-faint hearted there are beautiful views and a picnic table...

For the holidaymaker who prefers to keep to the local area, there are many facilities to enjoy, including swimming and surfing, fishing and walks though unsurpassed scenery along the National Trust Coastal Path. Immediately inland is the Tehidy Country Park with adjoining golf course, an area of beautiful woodland, lakeside walks and picnic areas.


Although Portreath is uncommercialised, the local amenities provide for all holiday and touring needs. Within the village, there are three public houses, a general store and post office, a bakers, a selection of restaurants and cafe as well as its superb beach.

"a real home from home"

From the moment we arrived we felt Brentre was very homely, it is very well furnished and equipped to a high quality. The rooms are of a good size and the king size bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. We wanted for nothing in the house as everything has already been thought of. Portreath is a lovely, quiet village with good pubs and a super beach although it is a shame dogs are not allowed on between 7 and 7 in the summer. It is well located for walks and touring as everywhere seemed close by. We would definitely recommend and would absolutely book again.

"A Comfortable Home from Home in a Lovely Resort"

Six Persons (Grandparents, Parents and Two Teenage Children) enjoyed a great week of surfing and walking in a comfortable well appointed house in a wonderful resort. The booking and administration worked smoothly without problem. The house is recommended to other vacationers

"Great Location and well appointed House"

Lovely semi-detached house in a quiet tree lined street. 2 minutes walk from the pubs 5 mins walk to good restaurants and the beach.
