About the home

Casa Mia II was designed by the owners as a luxury retreat for two taking maximum advantage of the setting to highlight the incredible views. A minimalist approach to furnishing and decoration enhances the spacious volumes and abundant light.

Much time and effort went into selecting and importing the materials for this luxury home.

We have endeavoured to create the atmosphere of a home rather than a cheerless holiday villa.

Stylish simplicity and abundant light are the hallmarks of this recently completed designer home that beckons you to cross the threshold as you enter your new home. The main door overlooks a mid-level courtyard garden through a picture window; the accommodation includes :

Entry level :

- An entrance lobby with guest cloakroom & wc and built-in cupbpoards
- Staircase to the lower level
- A spacious living area with Travertino floors and wide sliding doors on to a wrap around terrace
with stainless steel railings and steps to the sunken courtyard
- A fully equipped modern kitchen with granite worktops and a walk-in utility area

Garden level :


- A travertino staircase descends into a dressing area, leading from which there is a shower room with a
bidet & wc
- An enormous bedroom with a Queen-sized bed, Travertino floors and wide sliding windows to a
covered terrace overlooking the gardens.
- A luxury bathroom with Antonio Lupi twin vanity basins and matching bathub with shower.

Weekly flights (Saturdays) from Gatwick and Manchester direct to our local airport Figari Corse Sud - website Thomson.co.uk - Ryanair fly from Stanstead

Daily flights from Paris, Nice and Marseille to Figari Corse Sud.

Ryanair offers daily flights from U.K. to Olbia and Alghero from whence it is a short drive to the Santa Theresa/Bonifacio ferry. Bonifacio is 25km from Porto Vecchio.

Ferry from Marseille to Porto Vecchio see sncm.com

Extensive flights from U.K. to Bastia then hire a car and drive down the beautiful coastal route to Porto Vecchio.

Regular overnight ferry service from Marseille to Porto Vecchio - website sncm.fr - highly recommended, excellent service - book early.

There are numerous other ferry departures, overnight or high speed departing Nice, Toulon and Livorno to Bastia.

All the major car hire firms are represented throughout Corsica.

“The perfect relaxing getaway!!” Casa Mia II is a fabulous apartment. It's so hard to find rentals that cater for just two people but actually feel substantial enough. Usually it's small studios but with Casa Mia II, being set over two floors with a very generous living area, you don't feel trapped at all. The apartment was also finished to the highest of standards which made it all the more luxurious. I'd love to be able to give good reviews of the local restaurants but the apartment was so good, we simply bought in some local produce and ate in most evenings whilst taking in the amazing view out of the balcony. If you want to be right next to a bar and restuarant then this may not be the place for you but if you're looking for the ultimate relaxing break then you've found the place!

“Superb!” We loved Casa Mia II from the moment we arrived. We have stayed in lots of vacation rentals but Casa Mia is certainly at the top of the list. The location is excellent, peaceful and secluded, but within easy driving distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. The view over Palamboggia Beach from the property is spectacular and we spent many happy hours on the terrace watching the boats on the water, soaking up the sun and relaxing. It is beautifully furnished and equipped too - a real home from home. We can't say enough good things about it and are already planning to return next year.
