The Corsica region

Porto-Vecchio / Cala Rossa area
Magnificent beaches of white sand, lapped by the translucent waters of the Mediterranean are found in this delightful part of the island. The scenic harbours of Porto-Vecchio and Bonifacio boast a huge variety of restaurants and boutiques, whilst the limestone headland upon which Bonifacio sits is one of the most photographed sites in France. The majestic high mountains of the interior, dominated by the awe-inspiring Col de Bavella, are less than one hour's drive from Porto-Vecchio.
