Home description

This luxury apartment is located just 10 minutes’ walk from Cala Anguila beach. The apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local shop (5 minute walk) and a fantastic restaurant "The Albatross".
The apartment benefits from beautiful shared pool, with a adjoining children's pool. Leading from the living room is a spacious veranda (furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco), with lovely views of the landscaped gardens and sea. With one double and one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

With sunshine for most of the year Mallorca is a perfect year round holiday destination. Along with the wonderful scenery and dramatic coastline the island offers an array of shops, restaurants and great nightlife (if desired).

The east coast of Mallorca consists of more than fifty secluded coves and some of the islands finest beaches.
This luxury apartment is an ideal base from which to discover them. Cala Magrana is the perfect location for anyone wishing to relax (away from the bustle of the more commercial tourist resorts) yet only a 15 minutes walk (5 minutes drive) from Porto Cristo (our nearest town). Set on a hillside overlooking the little fishing harbour, Porto Cristo is a pretty port with a certain old-world charm.


Porto Cristo / Cala Magrana area

Porto Cristo is home to the celebrated Caves of Drach (10-15 minute walk), a series of spectacular caverns leading to Europe's largest underground lake. Descend 29 metres into the caves and if you like take a boat ride on the lake. The caves are amazing and worth a visit.

Take a boat trip from the marina in a glass bottomed boat and view the coastline and the Mediterranean both above and below!

Cala Anguila our local gently shelving beach is less than a ten minute stroll from the apartment (2 minute drive). In the summer months it boasts a great beach bar serving drinks and snacks throughout the day.

The local shop (5 minute walk) provides pretty much all the essentials including freshly baked rolls and croissants. We highly recommend The Albatross restaurant (next door to the shop) great food and wonderful service with a varied menu and caters for children too.

Cala Magrana is a quiet low-rise resort. The apartment is a great base for families, golfers, scuba divers, walkers, sun worshippers alike.


How to get there

* Fly to Palma Airport - Cala Magrana is just a 45 min. drive on new road. It's a lovely drive taking in the diverse Mallorcan scenery on the way.

* Cheap flights available from EasyJet.com.

* Car hire from Hertz.com or you can get some good deals with Europcar when booking your flight with Easyjet.

Having a car is the best way to explore the island, the roads are great and well sign posted.

Please note this a non-smoking apartment and would appreciate it if anyone wishes to smoke, they do so on the terrace.



Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of £150 per week is payable on booking. The full balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival date. Last minute bookings, the total amount is payable immediately. Apartment will be available from 3pm unless previously arranged. Departure - Apartment must be vacated by 11am to facilitate cleaning/checking etc. A separate cheque for £100 should be sent with the balance as a security deposit for keys & remote pad, breakages etc. This will be returned when the apartment has been inspected.
