We had one of our best holiday's ever in Cala Magrana 2. The owner was always very helpful, efficient and nice and responded very quickly to any of our queries. We actually has such a great time that extended our stay a few extra days. The owner was very helpful and trustworthy. The property was great, clean, spacious, sunny and had a wonderful terrace overlooking the pool and a bit of the sea. The location is very quiet, so it is perfect for young families and the two pools were great as we hardly met anyone there, so it felt like they were private. We rented a car in the airport, so it was handy for us to go around. I would recommend having your own transportation as shops nearby are limited and pricey, but getting things in Portocristo (Hyper Centro) was only 5 minutes drive and is cheap and very good quality, specially the fresh seafood and bakery. The apartment is very close from Cala Anguila beach, but we actually always drove as we had so many kiddies' toys to carry. You can actually drive down to the beach itself. There are 3 different cove beaches within walking distance. They are all wonderful coves, but to be honest the closest one (Cala Anguila) is the best, less people, clearer water, shallower, so no need to go far when you are already in paradise. There were also lots of fishes swimming around your feet, some even big ones, so we spent some time trying to catch them (unsuccessfully, of course). The apartment actually had a couple of beach and pool toys for children that came very handy. Next cove (Cala Mendia) has a good beach restaurant with good seafood and homemade cakes. Two minutes driving takes you to the Coves del Drach and still you can have wonderful day trips to Alcudia or Pollença which are less than 1 hour drive. We will definitely be back as soon as we can. |

Although we arrived very late in the evening, the directions given by the owners were excellent. The penthouse apartment was superb, very well appointed and we did not lack for anything. We found that the complex was very good, although if we had not been so mobile and active, we might have struggled with the surrounding area. The local beach was delightful, but again would have been a problem to reach as there were many steep steps to negotiate. We all had a wonderful stay and would recommend the apartment. |

The apartment was easy to book and hassle free. It was a lot larger than expected from a holiday apartment. It was well furnished and had everything you could wish for. The complex was not too big and extemely clean as was the swimming pools and garden area. I would say rather upmarket compared to others around the area. Certainly compared to Cala Millor and Cala Bona!! The location required you to have a car as there was only one resturant / supermarket within walking distance. Having said that you only needed to drive 2 minutes to find other resturants, bars, and supermarkets. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a relatively peaceful holiday with the busier town of Porto Cristo very close by . |

Stunning apartment. More like five star hotel accommodation than self-catering.
