We have a fully equipped luxury apartment available for vacation rental 2km outside Porto Cristo, on the island Mallorca. This is the ideal location for anyone wishing to relax, away from the bustle of the more commercial tourist resorts, yet only a few minutes from outstanding blue flag beaches and high quality restaurants.
The quiet, gently shelving beach is less than a ten minute stroll from the apartment or a 2 minute drive. In the summer months it boasts a very pleasant beach bar serving drinks and snacks through the day.

This is a brand new ground floor apartment completed by Taylor Woodrow in January 2007.The communal free-form pool lies in well tended gardens and is just a few feet away from the apartment’s terrace. Sun loungers are provided for use around the pool. There is private, allocated parking within the gated community for anyone wishing to hire a car. (Recommended). The apartment sleeps 4 people. The TV receives all UK Freeview channels

Please note this a non-smoking apartment and would appreciate it if anyone wishes to smoke, they do so on the terrace.
Terms & Conditions.The 25% deposit which is required before a booking can be confirmed is non-refundable. You are advised to take out a Travel Insurance Policy with a Cancellation clause, which may enable you to recover non-refundable monies. We reserve the right to cancel bookings if the property should become unavailable for any reason beyond our control. In this case all monies paid to us will be refunded in full. There will be no further compensation paid and any other losses incurred should be claimed through your travel insurance. The Security Deposit will be returned 2 weeks after the end of the rental period minus deductions for any major breakages or excess cleaning charges. Minor breakages, ie. Items of crockery and glassware will not be charged but please inform us of any such breakages so that they may be replaced before the next guests arrive. Excess cleaning charges will apply if professional cleaning or stain removal services are required after your stay. Stays of less than 4 days are subject to a final cleaning charge of £40. Travel documents will be released on payment of the the final balance. Reservations not fully paid for by the due date are liable to be cancelled and offered for re-sale without compensation. Refunds of the balance for cancellations by the renter within 6 weeks of the travel date will be dependent on the successful resale of the rental dates. This refund will be limited to the amount received for the resale minus deposit and expenses. We are not liable for the loss or restrictions to any services supplied by the complex, this includes, but is not limited to TV and WiFi services.
The Mallorca/Majorca region
The largest of the Baleares and home to the capital, Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca has a remarkable variety of options for tourists. The beaches are a main draw and visitors can choose from stylish resort areas or virgin beaches and coves along the breathtaking Tramontana mountain range. The centre of the island is a mix of vineyards, olive grooves and farm lands intertwined with picturesque mountain villages such as Valldemossa. With winter month temperatures reaching the 60s this island is an ideal year-round destination!
The Porto Cristo / Cala Magrana area
Set on a hillside overlooking the little fishing harbour, Porto Cristo is a pretty resort with a certain old-world charm. You can relax at one of the many bars and cafes along the tree-lined esplanade or laze in the sun on the sandy beach. Porto Cristo is also home to the celebrated Caves of Drach, a series of spectacular caverns leading to Europe's largest underground lake. Boat excursions leave regularly from the harbour, but for the more adventurous, fishing, sailing and scuba diving are available in the area.

-There is a train service from Palma to Manacor where a short taxi ride will take you to the apartment
-Taxi from the airport to the apartment will cost approximately 65 euros.
-The Resort Hopper bus will drop you at Porto Cristo, cost approx £18 return.

We stayed in the Cala Magrana apartment for 1 week in July 2012. We visited with 3 adults and a child (1.5 years old). The apartment is amazing and has everything you could need during your stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and airconditioning throughout. Books, magazines, children's toys, umbrellas and garden chairs are all provided. You really don't need to pack anything apart from your clothes!
The complex is great and very well looked after. It is nice to have a small private garden as well as a communal garden with swimming pools to give you options. There is an outdoor shower by the pool as well as plenty of sunbeds and large umbrellas. The children's pool is great for the little ones with the big pool large enough to have a nice swim.
The immediate area is quiet (great with small children or anyone else not looking for a wild nightlife) but with a car it is easy to get around the island. Porto Cristo is only a few minutes away by car and is a lovely small town with several nice restaurants. The local beaches are small and friendly and very easy to get to.
The owner is very friendly and helpful with anything you might need which makes the booking and preparation for your holiday easy.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing sun holiday.
