Fisherman's cottage is a 2 bedroom terraced property, which can accommodate 6 guests. It has been furnished to a very high standard and is modern and tastefully decorated throughout. It is situated in a lovely courtyard overlooking the Severn Estuary. The stylish marina is very near to the cottage.

The cottage has a double bedroom and a twin room (with bunk beds),also a comfortable pull out settee that sleeps 2 downstairs, (a travel cot available if required), a shower room with bath upstairs and a downstairs toilet and hand basin. A comfortable, open plan living room with kitchen, dining area and seating area.

Outside there are lovely views over the Severn Estuary and the Severn bridge to Wales. There is also work underway to the left of the property for a new lifeboat station which will be where the lifeboats launch, along with a gift shop, which will be a great attraction once completed.

The surrounding area is great for walking, exploring, fishing, shopping and there are lots of fantastic restaurants and pubs:-

The Royal Hotel ( to the left of the cottage), Hall & Woodhouse, Farrell's Irish Restaurant, Bottelino's Italian Restaurant, The White Lion Mezze Restaurant & much more. There are plenty of nearby supermarkets which include:- Morrisons, Aldi, Waitrose and Iceland, so no need to fill your car up with shopping before your journey as you can do it when you arrive, and they are all within easy walking distance along the marina.

** Highly recommended - The Windmill - pub/restaurant (would have to go in car) its along the coastal road towards Clevedon, beautiful meals and fantastic views**.

Portishead's stylish new marina development, Port Marine, houses up to 150 boats and has been developed as the centrepiece of a large urban renewal programme. The area is well worth a visit, to see the newly developed area and the striking public art. The work of several internationally acclaimed sculptors are on view here.

Portishead is magnificently situated, with sweeping views of the Severn Estuary, the Welsh coastline, both Severn bridges to one side and the beautiful and scenic Gordano Valley to the other.

Nearby attractions include:- The picturesque Lake Grounds which offer plenty of space for children to play, and is ideal for relaxing, admiring the spectacular views or watching the cricket or bowls. This is a great place to picnic, and refreshments are also available from the café. There is an open air swimming pool close by, a zoo farm, a fascinating farm and retail museum and superb National Trust houses and gardens. I am sorry you feel that communication from myself was poor. My telephone number is on the Holiday lettings site. I tried to call you but the phone was not on, so I sent a Email enclosing my number asking you to call me If you had maybe this situation could have been resolved.
I can not meet guests at the cottage when they arrive as I live in Leicester, but I have a company that is on the marina who manages the cottage so any problems I can call them.
