Well equipped 3 Bedroomed semi in quiet village of Portinscale, near Keswick.

Downstairs is a comfortable through lounge and dining room with 3 piece suite seating 6 and dining area also seating 6 (3 spare chairs upstairs if required) There is a gas fire, 37" TV with free sat and blue ray dvd recorder. Modern kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. There is an iron and ironing board.Downstairs shower room with wc and basin.

Upstairs there is double bedroom with king size bed with fantastic views over the Coledale horseshoe, bedroom with 2 single beds and bunk beds and views over the Skiddaw range, and single room with set of drawers and fitted cupboard. The bathroom has bath with electric shower over, wash hand basin and toilet.

Full double glazing - Full gas central heating - Fuel costs included. Payphone. Free wifi

Outside:

Parking for 2 cars. Private rear garden with wooden table and chairs. Barbecue (please bring your own charcoal & firelighters etc)

An ideal setting for walking, cycling or touring holidays, with launching facilities for water sports enthusiasts at the Marina about half a mile away. The village shop sells milk, butter and cheese. The local bus service 86 runs into Keswick Monday to Saturday at 10.11, 13.11 and 17.15. but is only 20 minute walk away. Keswick has shops, swimming pool/leisure centre, cinema, restaurants, pubs, cafes and take-aways

"Good practical space, lacking that homely touch."

"Good base for touring North and West Lake District"

Spacious house, enclosed SW facing garden, good location, easy to find, 20 minutes walking distance to Keswick, good mountain views. Short distance from Derwentwater, Borrowdale and Buttermere. Good matrasses, very clean bathrooms. Kitchen needs cleaning (extractor fan very greasy, doors not clean, easy to rectify). Living room windows not clean, also easy to rectify. Dishwasher and washing machine available. Decor needs updating. Sofa's not comfy. Livingroom not cosy, because no moodlighting, just very bright lights. Large TV and sat system is a plus, as is free wifi. Enormous amount of cutlery, glasses, plates available, as well as all kitchen extras like dustbin liners, cleaning clothes, etc.
