The Algarve region
The Algarve is renowned for it's long days of sunshine and it's beautiful sandy beaches, some of the best in Europe. It has many attractions for children and adults alike, many waterslide parks, zoos and animal conservation areas, sand-sculpting parks and much, much more. Also, places like Silves with it's Castle and beautiful Cathedral and Lagos with it's City walls and Museums. There are many shopping areas here also.
Portimao / Moinho da Rocha area
Portimao is our nearest town and it has several pedestrianised streets of shops as well as many restaurants, banks etc. It is also on the River Arade and there are many boating and fishing trips arranged from here. It is also the home of the famous 'Sardine Restaurants' which overlook the river Arade. Moinho da Rocha is our closest little Portuguese village - just a few houses, a bar and a shop.

Further details outdoors: Outside comprises of extensive floral terracing, incorporating an 8mt x 4mt pool, purpose built safe kiddies pool and an outrageously decadent 10 person Jacuzzi, just fabulous. Plus, probably the finest poolside 'Al Fresco' facilities available, with full size Barby, music and bar with fridge, seating for 10, your evenings will never be the same after this. Lots of activities include table-tennis, badminton, soccer , volleyball and basketball, it's all here - your own private leisure paradise.
