No 1 Penventon is the ideal property for a family holiday. A stone's throw from one of Cornwall's best surfing beaches. At low tide there is plenty of sand and rock pools to keep the children entertained.Positioned so close to the beach, it is ideal for wave watching and has easy access to the South West Coastal Path.
The property has an open plan kitchen/ living room which is light and airy with panoramic views from most windows.
The property has recently been extended."The Crow's Nest"has been incorporated into the bungalow providing extra space and facilities.
The property is a short walk to all village amenities, food store, post office, shops, pub, and surf schools. A short walk across the sand dunes is the popular Blue Bar and Boardroom providing dining in a relaxed casual environment.
From No 1 Penventon all parts of Cornwall are easily accesible

Facilities

The bungalow is accessed through a new annexe the "Crow's Nest", which has a toilet, shower and small utility room.There is also a sofa bed providing extra sleeping space if required.
The main accommodation provides an open plan kitchen/living room with dining table and 4 chairs, and two sofas seating 4 people.
The main bedroom/cabin has a double bed , chest of drawers and hanging space and the second bedroom/cabin has bunk beds with a chest of drawers and hanging space.
The bathroom has a bath with electric shower, washhand basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
Heating is electric panel heaters.

Conditions

Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Arrival time is from 3pm and departure time is 10am. Midweek and weekend bookings are available pro rata at off-peak times,subject to availability.

The Porthtowan area

Porthtowan, a village on the North coast of Conwall boasts one of the best surfing beaches in the area. It was awarded a Blue Flag in 2010 and is popular with families. It has a sandy beach and plenty of rock pools at low tide. It is popular with walkers as The South West Coastal Path drops right down into the bay from both sides of the beach. The village is surrounded by mining relics, a reminder of the once thriving tin mining industry in this area. Porthtowan has a village store, shops, cafes, surf schools, post office and pub. Blue is a lively bar and restaurant overlooking the beach on the opposite side of the bay to No1 Penventon.

“Arrive, unpack and start relaxing to Cornwall's perfect beach location” It's rare to find a holiday home on a beach untouched by the commercial world. The house is nicely furnished and the crows nest will be a nice addition. Waking to the sights and sounds of the ocean couldn't be more relaxing. Mary has set a standard which holiday home owners only aspire to achieve. I'm still finding sand in the car which brings back fond memories of staying at No 1 Penventon.

“Great house ,superb location” The house has everything you could want for a beach holiday. The location is superb , right on the beach. The house is decorated to a very high standard, everything we needed was supplied. We could walk over the sand dunes and be in a bar, or an ice cream parlour. The local shop provided anything we needed on a daily basis.

25% of rental costs due at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival (NB If booking is less than 6 weeks away, full payment due at time of booking).

A £150 cheque security bond is required in the form of a separate cheque which will be returned one week after departure,subject to a satisfactory property inspection.

If the balance due is not paid 6 weeks prior to your booking date, the booking may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

Cancellations up to 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday will result in your deposit being refunded.

Cancellation up to 6 weeks before your holiday start will result in your deposit being forfeited.

Cancellations less than 6 weeks before arrival will result in the forfeit of the total rental unless the property is re-booked, then the rental will be returned.

In all cases the security deposit cheque of £150 will be returned.
