Superb ski in/ski out first floor studio situated in a quite location by the Place Des Ruches in the heart of Avoriaz and within 50 metres of the piste leading to the main ski lifts. So if you want to be the first on the mountain after an overnight fall of fresh powder this is the place to be! Restaurants, shops and extensive nightlife are only a few minutes walk away
The studio will sleep up to 4 people with a double sofa bed and two singles, but is best suited for 2/3 adults or a family with 2 children.
Accommodation comprises of an entrance hallway with shower-room and separate toilet off , opening up to the living/sleeping area and kitchenette. There is also a south facing balcony with stunning views of the mountains.

At 1800 metres, Avoriaz is the highest resort in the Portes Du Soleil and one of the largest skiing areas in Europe. It has over 600kms of groomed piste that extends into both France and Switzerland. The resort caters for all ability levels, with both excellent nursery slopes and challenging black and off piste runs.

With its central location Avoriaz is a superb base for access to the other Portes Du Soleil resorts of Morzine Les Gets and Chatel on the French side, Les Crosets, Morgins, Champery and Champoussin on the Swiss side. The resort also has extensive cross country skiing trails and paths suitable for winter walking and the increasingly popular snow shoeing.

How to get there
Car: Avoriaz is approximately 9 to 10 hours drive from Calais using the French motorway system. Avoriaz is a car free resort but external and covered parking is available either at the resort or at the base of the Avoriaz Cable Car at Les Prodains. Snow chains are advisable as the road up to the resort can be impassable without them particularly after heavy snow. Once in the resort local transport is available 24 hours a day to get you to your accommodation. By day this is by horse and sledge.
Air: The nearest airport is Geneva approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away. There are frequent flights from the UK to Geneva with most of the major carriers.
There is a bus service from Geneva Airport to the Avoriaz-Prodains Telepherique operating 7 days a week throughout the season. Tickets can be reserved online at www.coach-station.com or purchased at the enquiry desk opposite the arrivals gate at Geneva airport. Transfer time is approximately 2 hours.

The Avoriaz-Prodains Telepherique bus drops you off outside the Telepherique where you will find trolleys to carry your luggage. As you exit the Telepherique in Avoriaz there is a free telephone that you can use to request transport. English is spoken and the cost is about 10 euros.
If you take the Saturday only bus direct to Avoriaz Station you will be dropped off at the top end of the resort where transport is also available.
The top of the Telepherique is actually closest to the studio and is within ten minutes walking distance depending on how much luggage you have.
Alternatively private transfers can be arranged through the numerous companies providing this service from Geneva Airport. Try www.ski-lifts.com for a quotation.
Car hire is also available from all the major operators at Geneva airport.

£50 deposit on booking. Balance 4 weeks before commencement of rental with a security deposit of £100. The price includes linen (but not towels) and a basic clean. However you are expected to leave the property as it is found and any additional cleaning costs will be deducted from the deposit.
