This traditional detached chalet stands in the unspoilt valley of La Manche and offers panoramic views from the large living room terrace. The attractive market town of Morzine offers a large choice of sport facilities and entertainments in the summer months and the surrounding area is ideal for relaxing and walking by well-marked trails.
The magnificent Léman lake and the spa towns of Evian and Thonon-les-Bains offer beaches, watersports and a large selection of restaurants. A visit to the Mont Blanc mountains in the Chamonix valley as well as sunbathing or sailing on Lake Annecy are also well worth the visit.
Location: 5km from Morzine (all facilities, shops, restaurants), 12km W of Avoriaz, 70km NE of Annecy (sailing lake, canal, old town centre), 35km S of Thonon-les-Bains (lake, spa town, restaurants).

With 650km of pistes, the Portes du Soleil is the largest ski area in the World. Rising from 1000m to 2466m, the area links 14 French and Swiss resorts with 204 lifts and 279 runs. Here, the holiday season is year round. No sooner has the skiing stopped than the flowers erupt, the cows are free to graze the alpine meadows again and the hikers, mountain bikers, paragliders and climbers descend (and ascend!).
Morzine area
Morzine is a large, attractive village with masses of real Savoyarde charm and tradition to be found in few other ski resorts. There are all sorts of shops, bars and restaurants, not forgetting the weekly market, to suit all tastes and budgets and superb sports facilities which include an ice-rink, swimming pools (including outdoor), 16 tennis courts, a fitness centre, golf courses, mountain biking (during the summer months the cable cars are open to transport you and your bikes to the top of the mountains), horse riding and lovely walks along the river Dranse in the Vallee de la Manche as well as up into the surrounding mountains on well-marked trails. White water rafting, canyoning, canoeing, climbing and paragliding are also available for the more adventurous. The lakes of Annecy and Geneva offer windsurfing, sailing, waterskiing, swimming and boat trips, not to mention sunbathing and sightseeing in any of the lakeside resorts (Thonon and Evian are only 40 minutes from Morzine).
