In the summer the chalet is available on a self catered basis and during the winter the chalet is a fully catered luxury ski chalet.
In traditional alpine style Chalet “Les 2 Vallées” is comfortable and inviting. The open plan lounge and dining room, with its log burner and comfy sofas, is the ideal place to relax after the day’s activities. After an active day in the mountain air our sauna and hydrotherapy shower (available all year round) is the perfect place to unwind. The chalet has 6 twin / double bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. All bedrooms are decorated to a high standard in traditional style. Rooms 1 - 4 are on the first floor and room 5 and 6 are on the ground floor. All bedrooms have en suite shower rooms with the exception of rooms 3 & 4 which share a large bathroom.

Chalet “Les 2 Vallées” is perfectly located in the picturesque resort of Chatel which lies in the Abondance valley. Chatel has been unspoiled by commercialism and has retained its charm as a typical Savoyard farming village. Chatel is one of the 12 resorts which make up the Portes Du Soleil, which includes Morzine, Avoriaz and the Swiss resorts of Morgins and Champery. Close by are the towns of Thonon, Evian, Annecy, Montreux and Geneva.

The chalet nestles snugly on the side of the mountain with spectacular views in both directions along the valley. It is approx 800 metres to the centre of Chatel village where you will find the Super Chatel ski lift and the many excellent bars and restaurants. Mountain biking There are over 24 lifts open in the summer giving access to 580km of marked cycle tracks in the Portes Du Soleil, this really is prime mountain biking country. There are 9 downhill tracks, and trial and biker cross circuits. For novice off road cyclists there are many great tracks to build your confidence and all mountain bikes can be hired locally. Walking There are more than 65km of footpaths in and around Chatel and over 300km of well marked trekking routes in the Portes Du Soleil. From a ramble around the Lac de Vonnes, a themed trail on the Morclan or a visit to the Chatel meadows tasting local farm produce along the way there is something to suit everyone.
White water rafting is done on the river Dranse. A team of well organised and professional instructors will ensure that you have a safe but thrilling day out. While you are here you can also try canyoning, white water swimming, canoeing and paragliding.
