Hibivillea is a luxury 2 bedroom 2 bathroom holiday villa, situated on the ever popular exclusive west coast of Barbados.
This villa in Barbados enjoys a stunning position at the end of the complex on the exclusive private development of Porters Court, comprising 8 traditional Bajan villas set in pretty tropical gardens.
The magnificent west coast beach is a mere 3 minutes walk and numerous restaurants, shops and hotel facilities are within a walk or short drive.
The villa has two large en-suite bedrooms, both twin bedrooms (can be made into a king size double). Both bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans.
The lounge and dining area (with study desk) open out via two sets of double doors onto a beautiful outdoor with table, chairs and barbecue – a perfect place for dining or relaxing in the shade. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided on the pool deck.
The villa also has a fully equipped modern kitchen including washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
Hibivillea has been built to a traditional chattel house style, with polished hardwood floors, high pickled pine ceilings and coral lights. It is a luxurious yet child friendly villa with a range of additional facilities provided to make you feel at home including cable TV, stereo CD, books, DVDs, and sports equipment.

The Saint James Parish region
The Parish of St James on the Platinum Coast, is often referred to as the playground of the rich and famous , but it has so much more to it. It was here that the first British settlers landed in 1625, under the reign of King James and named it 'Jamestown', now latterly known as Holetown. Noted for its spectacular beaches, its shopping, restaurants and bars, it also has historical attractions such as the St James Parish Church and the Portvale Sugar Factory, one of the few operational on the island.
For those Golfers, there are many world famous courses in the area and the the renowned Kensington Oval for Cricket lovers. The area offers snorkeling and diving on nearby reefs, waterspsports and a Marine Park. Island tours are readily available to visit such attractions as Harrisons Cave and the local Rum Distillary.
There are quite a few fresh fish markets, within a short drive and a large supermarket.
At Holetown there is a mall with a great selection of shops such as a supermarket, video/DVD rental, bank with ATM machine, cafes, duty free opportunites (take your passport and flight details) as well as local crafts. Dining in the local area is varied from local takeaways to top class international resaurants such as The Lone Star (5 minitutes walk) and The Cliff (15 mins drive). Long sandy beaches are less then 5 minutes away. All beaches in Barbados are public and have free access. Mullins Beach, a 15 minute drive/bus ride away, is a spectacular white sandy beach where chairs and umbrellas can be hired for the day. Fantastic deserted beaches and bays can be found on the south and east coast - transport required. Bottom Bay is our favourite - take a picnic.

"Beautiful and peaceful development in an excellent location"
We have recently returned from a two week holiday at number 2 Porters Court. The development is in an excellent location just a few minutes from the lovely beach and walking distance to ju-jus, Ramshakles and the Lone Star. The communal pool is a good size and was never busy, with plenty of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The grounds are beautiful, with lots of lush tropical plants.
The owners were great to deal with and answered all our questions and arranged a welcome pack for us. The property management company were thoughtful and left Easter eggs for our children and also arranged transport for us. Veronica, the housekeeper is a delight and did a good job of keeping the villa clean.
The kitchen is large and had everything we needed including cool boxes etc. The bedrooms were light and airy, with plenty of linen and towels for both the beach and bathrooms. The living room had satalatite tv ( American) with children's channels which is all we needed, as we couldn't get the DVD player to work. ( I think it just accepts American DVDs).
The real gem of this villa is the outside space. It has verandas to three sides, two in the shade and the rear one that is large and in the sun, but there is a canopy that can be used if you required the shade. The hammock was Devine, and many a time I found my children just "chilling" in it.
All in all, I can't fault the villa or the location, and it was wonderful to return to Barbados.

"Not what was advertised when booked!"
We booked this villa in September 2012 for an 11 night stay in February 2013. We opted for this villa above others which had private pool facilities as it had a private sunken jacuzzi on the rear terr… More
