The prime position of this stunning home makes it a superb vantage point to watch the activity on the Lough - a perfect look out! Recently built in a contemporary style it was designed to take full advantage of the outstanding views. The light filled open plan living area was purposely placed on the first floor and has floor to ceiling windows and juliette balcony affording commanding views across the Lough towards the town of Strangford. You can enjoy Freesat on the 42” flat screen HD TV enhanced with a home theatre sound system. The system includes a docking station, so don’t forget your iPod player. There is also a selection of CDs and DVDs. There is a boat park directly in front of the house that you can use during your stay and a slip which gives access to Strangford Lough. Private garden with a lawn, patio and decked areas. The decks at the top of the garden are a real sun trap perfect for memorable BBQs.
Portaferry is renowned for mouth-watering seafood and service and hospitality second to none, the local restaurants and cafes are worth visiting. The lively pubs are unforgettable - where the music and craic are mighty. Portferry has plenty to offer, from walking, sailing, fishing and diving. There is also a wealth of artists and crafts people with galleries and workshops. It is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Special Scientific Interest. It has long been a popular tourist destination, not least due to the warm welcome given by its townfolk.

This is the one place in Portaferry that you MUST stay in as it has everything you could possibly want - great location, sea view, fantastic standard of accomodation and quality of contents. Highly recommended. First Class. 5* |
