Cottage | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
This attractive two storey cottage utilises its 'upside-down' layout with the entrance to the top floor of the cottage by way of slate steps, leading to an airy, open-plan living/kitchen/dining area. Rated 4* GOLD by Visit England.
The décor is simple and tastefully brings to life the rich history of the cottage with the exposed authentic beams, antique pine furniture, original paintings and wood burning stove, perfect to come home to in the winter after a day out enjoying the stunning scenery of the North Cornwall coastline.
Views onto the courtyard garden on one side and a country lane on the other create a light and sunny atmosphere on the top floor. The stairs take you down to the bathroom and south facing bedrooms; one of which allows direct access into the courtyard garden via French doors. Parking is conveniently available in a private car park nearby.
The courtyard garden is shared and is made up of a level grassed area with flower borders and a childrens sandpit. It is south facing and very sheltered and private. Wooden garden furniture and sun loungers are provided. It is very safe and suitable for young children. External lighting in the courtyard is lit automatically during hours of darkness.
