House | 5 bedrooms | sleeps 10
A fantastic 5 bedroom property with a lovely living area overlooking the valley and sea. Only a 5 minute walk from the bustling harbour of Port Isaac- this property is in the perfect spot for a great family holiday. Pubs, cafes restaurants and shops all within close walking distance.
Bay View has recently been acquired by us and as a result has been completely refurbished inside to provide up to date spacious accommodation with all new decoration and fittings.
The 5 bedrooms consist of 2 double (king size beds) and 3 twins. The 2 doubles and 1 twin are on the ground floor and the other 2 twins are upstairs with a joint en-suite bathroom with power shower. Downstairs there is also a large family bathroom with separate power shower and bath, sink and wc.
The house is light and airy and much thought has gone into the interior decoration with modern furnishings of a very high standard. There is a brand new kitchen at the property and this leads onto the dining and living area. From the lounge there are huge glass doors leading out to the terrace making the most of the views and providing an area perfect for dining and relaxing. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and there is a washing machine and dryer at the property. We have tried to think of everything you would need to make your stay as comfortable as possible with a very well equipped kitchen and all the conveniences necessary for a smooth running holiday.
The property has a room downstairs with table football . There is a garden area below the terrace and a barbecue is provided for al fresco dining. Bay View is a large property and there is plenty of room for 2 or more families to spread out with lots of comfortable space to call ones own.
Outside there is ample parking for up to 4 cars and a garage for storage of surfboards and sailing equipment and the large garden is great for games.
Port Isaac itself has a beautiful old harbour with narrow winding streets and interesting galleries and quaint shops. The harbour has been filmed on many occasions for historical dramas and recently was used as the setting for the series Doc Martyn. At the centre of the village is the 'Platt' where you can sit and watch the fisherman land their catch of crabs and lobsters and while many an hour watching the world go by. Some fabulous restaurants have recently appeared in Port Isaac and yet the traditional pubs remain where you can get to know the locals. All within walking distance of Bay View.

"Comfortable home with lovely views and short walk to attractions of Port Isaac"
A comfortable home with good sized rooms and lovely views from the back. It was a good base for exploring north Cornwall. Port Isaac village centre was just a few steps away with good restaurants. … More
Many thanks for your valuable feedback, and please accept our apologies for the musty smell you had to endure. This property was empty for a few weeks and obviously wasn't aired properly prior to your arrival. We have advised the caretaker of the issue and going forward will ensure this is actioned when there is a gap between stays. I agree that the description of the 'games room' was misleading and apologise for the error. I have amended the description accordingly. We hope that the above issues didn't impair your holiday, and that you enjoyed your time in Cornwall. Kind regards the team at Cornish Seaview Cottages.
