Fronthill House is a spacious Edwardian villa, refurbished to reflect the expectations of modern living while preserving all aspects of a Cornish house by the sea. With its commanding views of the sea and surrounding hills, it is an ideal base from which to explore the wonders of Cornwall or enjoy its beach-house ambience with open fire, wooden and slate floors and a bespoke chestnut kitchen.

Fronthill House also features a terraced patio leading to a lawned garden,designer bathrooms, two double bedrooms and one twin, an attic study overlooking the sea and in the glass roofed kitchen, a four-oven AGA.

The property will be appreciated by people who would like to explore their culinary skills in the bespoke kitchen, value the luxury of an open fire, or just chill out with a book while enjoying the magnificent views of Roscarrock Hill and the waves pounding the rocks at Lobber Point. Central heating and electricity, logs, 100 per cent cotton bedding, fine white towels and cleaning are all included in the price structure.

From the kitchen, double doors lead to a walled patio area with a table and seating for six and a barbecue built into the stonework. Steps lead from this patio to a further terrace also with a table and seating and then on to a garden laid to lawn.

The West Country / Cornwall region

Port Isaac is a picturesque fishing village set amidst rugged and magnificent scenery on Cornwall's north coast. It lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty with steep narrow lanes exuding old world charm. Walkers are rewarded with spectacular views, rugged cliffs and secluded coves rich in flora and fauna, with wild flowers and lichen growing among the rocks.

The coastal path from Port Isaac to Port Quin is particularly breathtaking and demanding. A more gentle return across the fields gives ample time to recover for a leisurely lunch at the Golden Lion or the Slipway Hotel or simply devouring a Cornish pasty on the Platt as the world meanders by.

The Port Isaac area

Port Gaverne's small sandy beach next to Port Isaac is very safe for small children and Port Isaac itself has rock pools and a cave for children to explore. Five miles away is Polzeath; popular with both surfers and families.. Daymer Bay just beyond Polzeath has an amazing expanse of sandy beach, and is also excellent for a family day out. Rock is 10 minutes drive away and these three beaches offer some of Cornwall's best sailing, surfing and water sking. The area also offers the world famous St Enodoc golf course, cycling on the Camel trail and horse riding over Bodmin Moor. In the summer season you can book fishing and scenic trips from Port Isaac. and Padstow.
