A 3 bedroom self catering cottage for up to 8 people in the historic fishing village of Port Isaac. A 5 min walk from the picturesque harbour and ideally located for all the beaches, restaurants, pubs, walks, fishing, watersports, horse riding, golf and much more which North Cornwall has to offer. 2 Dolphin Cottage provides a stylish and fully furnished holiday home. The open plan living area allows for a very sociable holiday. Parking for two cars. The cottage sits within a minute walk to the coastal path. It is well served by fantastic local restaurants and cafes, offering locally caught seafood and good pubs all within walking distance. ‘Pea Pod’, a lovely local delicatessen yards from the cottage, provides freshly baked bread, homemade cakes, Cornish pasties and morning papers. Convenience store (Co-op) around corner from property.

The West Country / Cornwall region

Port Isaac area
The historic fishing village of Port Isaac is popular for whitewashed cottages built in the 18th and 19th century, narrow winding lanes and a still working harbour. An ideal base for trips to Polzeath, Padstow, Rock, Tintagel and Boscastle. Surfing, watersports, horse riding and first class golf courses are all nearby. Port Isaac is an integral part of the coastal path. It is well served by fantastic local restaurants and cafes, offering locally caught seafood and good pubs all within walking distance.
Golf: 10-15 minutes by car to two excellent 18 hole golf courses, Roserrow and St Enodoc. Booking in advance required. Coast and beaches: Polzeath beach an expansive sandy cove with some of the best surfing in Cornwall is 10 minutes by car.Daymer bay is 15 minutes by car and is a popular windsurfing spot. Dogs are welcome all year round and at low tide the beach can be walked all the way to Rock.
Transport: 40 minutes drive from Newquay airport. 70 minutes drive from Exeter airport. 20 minutes drive from Bodmin train station. 20 minute bus to Wadebridge.

Christmas week booking will be a Saturday to Saturday this year (20th - 27th December 2008). This to allow for some recovery time (eg hang overs and over indulgence) before the cottage needs to be vacated!!
