'Every' cottage is in a peaceful,rural location within the grounds of the former Georgian St Kew vicarage. The popular St kew Inn is just a short walk from the cottage. It is 10 minutes drive to the quaint fishing village of Port Isaac and 10 minutes drive to Wadebridge with its enviable mix of small independent shops and large supermarkets and laundrette.
Take a stroll through the intriguing passage ways and narrow streets of Port Issac and you will discover traditional old pubs, interesting shops and Art galleries. Directly on the harbour,the fish shop sells locally caught seafood and hand picked crab. Port Isaac is also the location for Doc Martin the TV series. Every cottage is ideally situated for those who wish to explore the dramatic north coast footpaths and beaches. Daymer bay is a popular family beach and Polzeath famous for surfing are a short drive away.
For those who enjoy cycling,bikes can be hired at Wadebridge and the 'Camel Trail' will lead you along the estuary to the pretty harbour town of Padstow famous for its seafood and Rick Stein restaurants. It is also fun to go to Padstow by ferry from Rock.

'Every' cottage is cosy and peaceful. Bed linen and towels are provided. It has been recently refurbished and has new carpets. Downstairs, there is an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen with a back door leading out to the garden. There is a bathroom (underfloor heating) with bath and shower. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, combi m/wave/oven/grill and a seperate hob. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms. This comfortable cottage has NSH which make it an ideal winter 'escape' as well as a summer holiday location. A welcome hamper of food, drink and a Cornish cream tea is waiting for you when you arrive (on bookings of 7 nights or more). Electricity and heating included.

There is a lawned garden at the rear with patio table and chairs.There is a cobbled drive and parking area at the front.
Payment may be paid by paypal,cheque or bank transfer. I well behaved dog is welcome (£15 per week), but they must bring their own bed and are not allowed upstairs.
The West Country region
Cornwall has much to offer the visitor and is steeped in history and legend. From the wild, remote and beautiful Bodmin moor to the characterful fishing villages, secluded beaches and dramatic coastlines, it is easy to see why Cornwall attracts artists and writers. The road network in Cornwall is much improved so it is easy to explore places a bit further away such as Eden Project, The Lost gardens of Heligan, Falmouth, and Truro
The ruined Tintagel castle, said to be linked to King Arthur, is built on an rocky island and can only be reached by a footbridge. Golf is available at St Kew (5 mins drive away) and the renowned St Enodoc Golf club at Rock is 15 mins drive away. Every June, Wadebridge hosts The Royal Cornwall Show.

"Just fabulous a gem of a place"

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet location"
Everything was wonderful. We had a cream tea waiting on arrival, along with wine, homemade preserve and some local produce, which I thought a lovely touch. The cottage itself was pretty both outside and in; clean, modern, comfortable, and importantly for us, very child friendly.
Kew is a beautiful little hamlet, near to all the local holiday spots (padstow, polzeath, port isaac etc.), and the cottage is a stone's throw from one of the best pubs in Cornwall, in my opinion.
There was also table tennis available in one of the sheds, which the kids greatly enjoyed.
The cottage has a large drive, so parking, and unloading was no problem, a real asset in the busy season. Kew has nothing in the way of shops, but either Wadebridge or Port Isaac are only 10 minutes drive away.
I would recommend this cottage in particular to those who want to stay somewhere near to North Cornwall's attractions, but want to avoid the tourist stampede during the peak seasons.
The only thing to be aware of is that Kew is a dead spot for mobile signal, at least on our carrier (EE). The cottage has a good internet connection however, so this wasn't much of an issue for us.
