Situated in a row of properties along aptly named Squeeze Belly Alley, renowned as one of the narrowest thoroughfares in Britain, Sam Billing Cottage is attractively presented and offers comfortable and well planned accommodation with a clever use of space - a perfect base for a couple or a small family. Port Isaac is an historic picturesque fishing village, which has now become even greater known for its role in the current TV programme Doc Martin as the fictional town of 'Port Wenn'. It offers many breathtaking walks across the dramatic coastline of North Cornwall as well as its own beach and harbour. There are delightful boutiques and galleries for those who wish to explore the magical narrow streets and to finish off you can always pop into one of the superb cafes, pubs or restaurants.

Accommodation: Glazed stable door leads from path into the well equipped fitted kitchen with built in electric oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge with freezer box and dining table to seat four. Leading to lounge area with sofa and armchair, flat screen TV with freeview - door to small rear courtyard. Ground floor bedroom, L-shaped with 2'6" quarter bunk bed (could be utilised by one adult - in upper bunk) with chest of drawers and rooftop views to the harbour. Staircase opens into Double bedroom with harbour views across the rooftops, with 4ft 6inch double bed, chest of drawers and clothes stand, leading into beautiful bathroom with luxurious roll top claw foot bath with shower over, heated towel rail, WC and pedestal basin.

Outside: From the rear door of the property is a small courtyard ideal for storage of beach equipment and a clothes line. From the front door, opposite the property on the other side of the path is a private fenced garden accessed through a wrought iron gate, with small lawn, shrubs and flower borders, garden furniture, a perfect little haven from which to observe the world going by.
Parking: No parking near cottage, however unloading is possible by the entrance to the alleyway a few feet from the property. Parking is available at the public car park at the top of the village, 700 yards, approx. charge £21 per week.

A wonderful array of Pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes within 50 yards. Fishing trips can be taken from the harbour in peak season times.

The Port Isaac area
North Cornwall expanding from Bude down to Newquay which both offer superb surfing opportunities. Many of Newquay's beaches are home to the surfing championships. This part of Cornwall has become popular with many celebrities including TV Chefs Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver. Padstow has now become synonymous Rick Stein, where he has restaurants, shops, delis and a fish and chip shop.

In Watergate Bay, Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant resides in a stunning location on the beach. Port Isaac a pretty fishing village draws many visitors due its link with the Television series Doc Marten starting Martin Clunes.
Tintagel is a short drive from Port Isaac, a mystical place famous for being home to King Arthur's legend. Also steeped in history are the ancient market towns of Bodmin and Launceston are a short drive inland.
