Sea Haven is a large, well-equipped house located in Port Isaac. Its position at the top of the village affords spectacular views from all the front rooms. A short walk will take you into the heart of the village where you will find a number of stylish shops, cafes and restaurants as well as the renowned fish cellars. There are several wonderful beaches nearby for surfing and other water sports and a 5 minute walk away from the village will take you down to Port Gaverne beach.

The first floor has a master bedroom with bay window looking out across the sea. There is a room with bunk beds and a single bed and a bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. On the second floor there is another double room with sea views and two twin rooms. There is also a bathroom with shower and toilet.
Duvets and pillows are provided. guests are asked to bring their own towels and bed linen.

There is free parking all along The Terrace. In the front of the house there is a small garden where you can sit at the picnic table and enjoy the view of the Atlantic. There is an enclosed sloping garden at the back of the house.

The Port Isaac area
Port Isaac has recently become well known as the picturesque setting for the TV series Doc Martin. It is not difficult to see why it was chosen as it retains plenty of charm as an unspoilt Cornish fishing village. There are a number of great restaurants and a few stylish shops. A 5 minute walk from the house brings you into the heart of the village while 5 minutes the other direction take you to the quiet beach at Port Gaverne.

Just back from a fantastic few days spent in Port Isaac staying at Sea Haven. Our party numbered 8 adults and the well equiped house swallowed us up without any problems. With beds to spare, we were all very comfortable and the 2 bathrooms were more than adequate. The very well equiped Kitchen allowed the Gents of the party to prepare our customary New Year's Eve Dinner and a good time was had by all. The location of Sea Haven is fantastic, being situated atr the top of the village set equally between the villages of Port Isaac and Port Gaverne; both being only a 5 minute walk away. The views from the principal house rooms are simply breath taking! No nagatives; great house, great location and owner extermely curtious, easy to deal with and very helpful. |

The house was spot on, there was 7 of us in total and the split levels allowed the 2 families to have the required privacy. Everything you need is there. The roll top bath had queues forming for it. We too the upper front bedroom, which I preferred, for uninterupted views when relaxing on the bed. The area itself is a great place to use as a base, be it visiting the port itself, or visiting one of the many beaches or places to see. |
