The first floor balcony is the perfect place for morning coffee or to relax with a glass of wine watching the sun set.

The front terrace has a small round marble table and 2 chairs found inside the house on arrival and should be placed back inside when leaveing, and the terrace is half tiled and half decking with a gate that can be locked so safe for children not to wander, the house is on a island/cul de sac so there is not much trafic from cars at all.
The garage has 2 sunbeds and 3 sun chairs stored inside.
The BBQ and gas cylinder are found in the garage and should be put back after your stay and sunbeds and sun chairs.
The rear terrace has a round large tiled table that can seat 6 people with 4 chairs found inside on arrival and should be placed back inside when leaveing.
The rear terrace over looking the marina is fully tiled and so a great place for the BBQ cooking.
There is a fence with a gate at the waters edge that can be locked to keep the children safe.
We are happy to consider rental of fewer than 7 days i.e weekend stays of 2 to 5 days for up to 4 people at any time.
The rental rate will be as follows the price for the week divided by 7 then times by the days stayed plus cleaning at 85.00 euros then 10 euros per person for laundry.

The Languedoc-Roussillon region
Aigues Mortes is in the Gard department of Languedoc - Roussillon. This medieval fortress town is steeped in Louis IX crusader history and character. Located 4km from the coast it is an ideal base to explore the Camargue national park with its famous flamingo's and wild horses.
This park is a haven for all kinds of wildlife and the waterways of the area offer a unique way to discover this famous park. Camargue safari tours leave from Aigues Mortes regularly. Trekking on the white horses of the Camargue is also an enjoyable way to explore the park.
Some of the best beaches in the South of France are within an 8 minute drive of the villa and with Languedoc boasting approximately 300 days of sunshine per year it is a visitors dream. Golf can also be enjoyed nearby with one of the best courses in the region only 10km away.
The Gard region boasts 4 Unesco world heritage sites, Nimes, Arles, Le Pont du Gard and the Canal du Midi. Visit the famous Roman amphitheatres of Nimes and Arles and the impressive ancient aqueduct Le Pont du Gard. The medieval city of Avignon is less than 45km away where you can visit the famous Pont d'Avignon and the Palace of the Popes, or you could visit the capital city of the region Montpellier which is only a 30 minute drive away.
The marina leads onto the Canal du Sete and from here you can cruise from the back garden out to the Mediterranean (a relaxing 40 minute cruise) or head along the famous Canal du Midi all the way to Toulouse What better way to relax!!
Languedoc is famous for its wine and you can visit many of the famous wineries of the area. With its long coastline seafood is especially good in the area and this can be enjoyed in any one of the numerous restaurants. Gard boasts a number of shops supplying wonderful regional produce which are definitely worth a visit.
Port Du Roy
Aigues Mortes is an ideal base to explore the best of the Gard region and is a perfect location for those wanting a holiday that combines excellent weather, fantastic beaches and world famous historic sites. The town itself is extremely popular with tourists and the magnificently preserved walls of the town are an impressive site on the landscape. A tour of the Constance tour and walking the ramparts is highly recommended way to pass an afternoon.
Aigues Mortes has an abundance of excellent restaurants serving up specialities of the Camargue; here you will be able to find something to suit every taste and every price!. The town also boasts a number of art galleries, craft shops and specialists stores which you can enjoy as you wander the narrow streets of this charming town.
The marina is located on the Canal du Sete, it is possible to hire boats in the town on an hourly, daily and weekly basis. What could be nicer that mooring your boat at the end of the garden and cruising the canals, the perfect way to explore the Camargue!!! It is also possible to join one of the many boat trips which leave from the town every morning and afternoon and cruise through the canals of the area.
A bustling market is held every Wednesday and Sunday morning on avenue F. Mistral which is only a short walk from the villa; here you can pick up excellent local produce for your stay.
Throughout the year the town hosts many interesting festivals and the colourful festival of Saint Louis takes place in August. The town is extremely popular with tourists and has a wonderful atmosphere which I'm sure you will enjoy.

We had a fantastic holiday in Aigues Mortes, staying at No 25 Quai San Marco. The House has very thing you would want . It is in a great location, a nice bike ride / walk into town and the tranquillit… More
