Port Douglas is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Tropical Daintree Rainforest. It is the closest land to the Great Barrier Reef offering luxury boat tours, fast cat island tours, sunset sails, Marlin/Swordfish fishing (including international Marlin tournament in November).

Port (as the locals refer to it) is located in the heart of the World Heritage Daintree Tropical Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef. It's Tropical climate is perfect for its laid back and relaxed feel. Perfect for a couple or group of couples to get away and enjoy Sunshine, Warm Tropical waters and the Beach. Winter temps range from 22 to 29 with mild humidity. Summer temps sit between 29 and 31. Occasionally getting some warmer days of 33. Humidity levels rise in Summer and whilst called the wet season, the rains are tropically warm and generally come at night. Heaven really.
