There is a large open plan living area with panoramic sea views, a dining area seating 10 and a modern fully equipped open plan kitchen. There are two cottages on the property each with bathrooms. Sleeps eight comfortably.

The Eastern Cape region
The Eastern Cape is one of South Africa's nine provinces and in many ways the most beautiful combining rugged countryside and magnificent coastal areas. Home to the Xhosa speaking people of whom Nelson Mandela and many other legendary leaders are some it is a must see in South Africa.
Visit Mandela's birthplace village of Qunu, visit Grahamstown, only 50 km away with heritage sites dating back to early settlers. There are many beautiful usually deserted beaches in the area and stunning walking, hiking, horse back trails, surfing in the Indian Ocean and duneboarding.
This stretch of coastline is called The Sunshine Coast and Port Alfred boasts the most sunny days in sunny South Africa per year!
Port Alfred / East Beach area
Port Alfred is a small coastal town conveniently located between Port Elizabeth and East London. It is located on the Kowie River and the Indian Ocean providing beautiful views.It has everything one would expect of a holiday town, shopping mall, restaurants and safe beaches. It has one blue flag beach.It also has a spectacular golf course overlooking the Indian ocean with buck roaming on it.
There are two spas in the town providing up market pampering for men and women. Nearbye is the 1820 settler village of Bathhurst with the oldest pub in the area, "The Pig'n Whistle" There is much to do in Port Alfred, it offeres deep sea diving, river cruises and swimming, surfing and dune surfing. It is a relaxed spot, ideal for lazy days reading, walking on the magnificent beaches or gazing at the stunning views.
How to get there
Fly to Johannesburg. From Joburg fly to East London or Port Elizabeth. Both served by budget airlines, 1Time, Kulula.com and flysaa.com.
Car hire, all major companies, local cheap agencies are Tempest and Sizwe Car Hire. Drive coastal route 90 minutes to Port Afred from either Port Elizabeth or East London. East London route more scenic

Other bedroom in house has double doors opening onto the deck, view of Marina, Kowie River and Indian Ocean. One large cottage with own deck, one smaller, both in view from main house. Double garage, electric gate entry, security alarm system throughout.Gardens front and back with indigenous feel.

There is another golf course 15km away at the Fish River. It is surrounded by beautiful unspoiled beaches. In the town there is a blue flag beach (Kelly Beach) and a Kiddies Beach, plenty of restaurants and shops and spas for those lazy days.
