Home description

The apartment sleeps up to 4 people - there is a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The the living room has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge.

The residence has the a beautiful pool inside the compound and from the pool area, you can enjoy wonderful views of Lake Lugano and the mountains surrounding it. There is also a private parking space.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area

Porlezza, which sits on the eastern banks of Lake Lugano and is surrounded by lush green mountains that are a favourite destination for walking, hiking & cycling. There any many important churches in the area which are of huge artistic value. The most historical place of interest is the suburb of Cima, where you can see the ruins of an ancient fortress. A few kms away from the town, heading towards Menaggio, Lago del Piano and the Orrido di Corrido are worth a visit, and towards Val d'Intelvi the caves of Rescia & Orrido di Osteno rich in stalactites and stalagmites.

Porlezza area

The whole area is lively in the summer months, as well as being a beach resort, visitors also enjoy the extensive hiking trails that abound all around the neighboring hillsides and mountains.

Air One from London City Airport to Milan Linate airport.

Hire Cars - Europe car booked through EasyJet website & Hertz booked through Ryanair. Alternatively, www.carrentals.co.uk is very good and cheaper than the two above.

Cleaning Costs

There is a final cleaning cost of €70 when staying for one week & €90 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price.

Short Breaks

3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff

We offer a range of facilities, which are available for hire through our office ‘Happy Holiday Homes’ in Menaggio:

Payments by Credit/Debit Card & Wire Transfer

There are no additional charges for credit or debit card payments. However, all bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our booking form online and pay a 30% deposit. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
